For their rock is not like our Rock, as even our enemies concede.

Woe to us! Who will deliver us from the hand of these mighty gods? These are the gods who struck the Egyptians with all the plagues in the wilderness.

And He took off their chariot wheels, so that they drove them with difficulty; and the Egyptians said,“ Let us flee from the face of Israel, for the Lord fights for them against the Egyptians.”

“ No one is holy like the Lord, For there is none besides You, Nor is there any rock like our God.

I make a decree that in every dominion of my kingdom men must tremble and fear before the God of Daniel. For He is the living God, And steadfast forever; His kingdom is the one which shall not be destroyed, And His dominion shall endure to the end.He delivers and rescues, And He works signs and wonders In heaven and on earth, Who has delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.

Who is among you of all His people? May his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem which is in Judah, and build the house of the Lord God of Israel( He is God), which is in Jerusalem.

“ For there is no sorcery against Jacob, Nor any divination against Israel. It now must be said of Jacob And of Israel,‘ Oh, what God has done!’

The king answered Daniel, and said,“ Truly your God is the God of gods, the Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, since you could reveal this secret.”

“ How shall I curse whom God has not cursed? And how shall I denounce whom the Lord has not denounced?

And whatever they need— young bulls, rams, and lambs for the burnt offerings of the God of heaven, wheat, salt, wine, and oil, according to the request of the priests who are in Jerusalem— let it be given them day by day without fail,that they may offer sacrifices of sweet aroma to the God of heaven, and pray for the life of the king and his sons.Also I issue a decree that whoever alters this edict, let a timber be pulled from his house and erected, and let him be hanged on it; and let his house be made a refuse heap because of this.And may the God who causes His name to dwell there destroy any king or people who put their hand to alter it, or to destroy this house of God which is in Jerusalem. I Darius issue a decree; let it be done diligently.

And whatever more may be needed for the house of your God, which you may have occasion to provide, pay for it from the king’s treasury.And I, even I, Artaxerxes the king, issue a decree to all the treasurers who are in the region beyond the River, that whatever Ezra the priest, the scribe of the Law of the God of heaven, may require of you, let it be done diligently,

Now the Lord has brought it, and has done just as He said. Because you people have sinned against the Lord, and not obeyed His voice, therefore this thing has come upon you.

Therefore I make a decree that any people, nation, or language which speaks anything amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made an ash heap; because there is no other God who can deliver like this.”
