For a fire will be kindled by my wrath, one that burns down to the realm of the dead below. It will devour the earth and its harvests and set afire the foundations of the mountains.

大地全然破壞，盡都崩裂，大大震動。大地東歪西倒，像個醉酒的人，又搖來搖去，像座草棚；大地被其上的罪孽重重壓著，以致塌陷，不能再起來。

群山在他腳下融化，眾谷裂開，如蠟在火前一般，像水沖下斜坡一般，

你們這些蛇，這些毒蛇所生的啊，你們怎能逃脫地獄的刑罰呢？

他在怒中移山翻岡；山岡卻不知道；他使大地震動離開本處，大地的柱子就搖撼；

猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民哪！你們要為了耶和華的緣故自行割禮，除去心裡的污穢；不然，我的忿怒必因你們的惡行，如火一般發出來，無人能熄滅！”

那些殺身體卻不能殺靈魂的，不要怕他們；倒要怕那位能把靈魂和身體都投入地獄裡的。

因為陀斐特那燒著的火早已安排好了，是為君王預備的，又深又寬；其中所堆的，是火和許多的柴；耶和華的氣像一股硫磺火，把它燃點起來。

大山在他面前震動，小山也都融化；大地在他面前廢去，世界和所有住在世上的，也都這樣。在他盛怒之下，誰能站得住呢？他的烈怒誰能受得了呢？他的忿怒像火一般噴出來，磐石在他面前都崩裂了。

因此，大地被咒詛吞滅，地上的居民要承擔懲罰。因此，地上的居民被焚燒，剩下的人很少。

又要報應那些不認識神、不聽從我們主耶穌的福音的人。

火怎樣焚燒樹林，火燄怎樣燃燒群山，

萬軍之耶和華說：“看哪！那日來到，像燒著的火爐一樣；驕傲的和作惡的，都必成為碎稭；那要來的日子，必把他們燒盡，不給他們留下一根一枝。可是，對你們敬畏我名的人，必有公義的太陽升起來；它的光線有醫治的功能；你們必出來跳躍，像欄裡的肥牛犢。”

諸山見你而顫抖，眾水暴流而過；深淵發聲，舉手高揚。

主耶和華這樣說：我在妒火中說話攻擊列國中餘剩的人和以東眾人，因為他們全心歡喜，滿懷恨惡，把我的地歸給自己為業，好佔有它為掠物。

雖然大山可以挪開，小山可以遷移，但我的慈愛必不從你身上挪開，我和平的約也必不遷移；這是憐憫你的耶和華說的。

如果你的一隻眼睛使你犯罪，就把它挖出來丟掉；你一隻眼睛進永生，總比有兩隻眼睛被投進地獄的火裡好。

因此，地雖然震動，群山雖然崩塌入海洋的深處，我們也不害怕。

因為我們的神是烈火。

耶和華啊！求你使天下垂，親自降臨；求你觸摸群山，使山冒煙。

那時大地搖撼震動，群山的根基也都動搖，它們搖撼，是因為耶和華發怒。濃煙從他的鼻孔往上冒，烈火從他的口中噴出來，連炭也燒著了。

他在烈怒中砍斷以色列所有的角；他從仇敵面前，收回自己的右手。他像吞滅四周物件的火燄，在雅各中間焚燒。
