他们说：“摩西准许写了休书就可以休妻。”耶稣对他们说：“摩西因为你们的心硬，所以写这诫命给你们。

对他们说：“你们是利未人的族长，你们和你们的弟兄应当使自己分别为圣，好将耶和华—以色列神的约柜接到我所预备的地方。因为你们上一次没有抬这约柜，并且我们没有按规矩求问耶和华—我们的神，所以他冲出来攻击我们。”于是祭司和利未人使自己分别为圣，将耶和华—以色列神的约柜接上来。利未子孙用杠，把神的约柜抬在肩上，正如摩西按照耶和华的话所吩咐的。
