Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

最后，你们要在主里藉着他力量的权能得以刚强。

你们这一小群哪，不要怕，因为你们的父乐意把国度赐给你们。

你要等候耶和华！当坚强，也愿你的心勇敢。你要等候耶和华！

你不要害怕，因为我与你同在；不要惊惶，因为我是你的神。我必坚固你，必定帮助你，必定用我公义的右手扶持你。

所以我的儿子啊，你要藉着在基督耶稣里的恩典得以刚强。

耶和华是我的光，是我的救恩，我还怕谁呢？耶和华是我一生的保障，我还惧怕谁呢？

雅各啊，创造你的那一位，以色列啊，塑造你的那一位——耶和华如此说：“你不要害怕，因为我救赎了你；我提你的名召唤了你；你是属于我的！你从水中经过，我必与你同在；你渡过河流，水必不漫过你；你在火中行走，必不被烧灼，火焰也烧不着你。因为我是耶和华你的神，是以色列的圣者，你的拯救者，所以我牺牲埃及作你的赎价，牺牲库实和西拔替代你。因为你在我眼中看为宝贵、视为尊贵，更因为我爱你，所以我牺牲别人替代你，牺牲万族替代你的性命。你不要害怕，因为我与你同在。从东方，我必带来你的后裔；从西方，我必招聚你；

你们行事为人不要爱钱财，要以现有的为满足，因为神自己说过：“我绝不撇下你，也绝不离弃你。”

“我，是我安慰你们；你是谁，竟怕那必死的人，就是那被弃如草芥的世人；

你们要警醒，在信仰上当站立得稳，要做大丈夫，要刚强；

因为我耶和华你的神，紧拉着你的右手，对你说：“不要害怕，我必帮助你！”幼虫雅各啊，以色列人哪，不要害怕，我必帮助你！你的救赎主是以色列的圣者！这是耶和华的宣告。看哪！我要使你成为一个崭新、锐利、多齿的打谷器；你必脱打、磨碎群山，又使冈陵如同糠秕。你必簸扬它们，风就把它们吹去，狂风使它们四散；但你必因耶和华而快乐，因以色列的圣者而夸耀。那些困苦和贫穷的人寻找水，却没有水；他们的舌头因干渴而焦燥；我耶和华必回应他们，以色列的神必不离弃他们。

但那些胆怯的、不信的、可憎的、杀人的、淫乱的、行邪术的、拜偶像的，和所有说谎的人，他们的份就在燃烧着烈火和硫磺的湖里。这是第二次的死亡。”
