主爾之天主所將付爾列邦之民、爾必滅之、勿加矜恤、勿事其神、恐使爾陷於網羅、

以色列人以刃擊之、奪其地、自亞嫩至雅博、直至亞捫族之地、因亞捫族邊界之地、甚為險固、以色列人取亞摩利人諸邑、居於其中、即希實本與其一切鄉里、希實本乃亞摩利王西宏之都城、昔西宏與摩押先王戰、盡取其地、直至亞嫩、故作歌者云、爾來至希實本、西宏之邑、被建被造、火自希實本而發、烈焰出自西宏都、焚燬摩押之亞珥、焚燬亞嫩溪旁巴末之居民、巴末之居民或作崇邱之居民摩押人歟、爾有禍、基抹民歟、爾已滅亡、其男奔逃、其女被掠、為亞摩利王西宏所擄、我已射之、希實本以及底本偕亡、我已盡滅之、直至挪法、近米底巴、○於是以色列人居亞摩利地、摩西遣人窺探雅塞、遂據其鄉、驅逐居彼之亞摩利人、以色列人轉向巴珊而上、巴珊王噩帥其眾民、迎攻以色列人、至以得來與之戰、主諭摩西曰、毋畏之、我必將此王與其人民土地、付於爾手、爾可滅之、如滅都於希實本之亞摩利王西宏然、於是以色列民擊敗巴珊王、戮其諸子及其眾民、一無所遺、遂得其地、

主爾之天主以之付爾、為爾所敗、則必殲滅之殆盡、勿與立約、勿加矜恤、

必使大蜂飛集於爾前、以逐希未人迦南人赫人、惟不盡逐之在一年之內、恐土地荒蕪、野獸眾多以害爾、我漸逐之、待爾人民蕃多、可得此地為業、我定爾界、由紅海至非利士海、由曠野至大河、我必將斯地之居民、付於爾手、必逐之於爾前、

當時我諭約書亞曰、主爾之天主所行於二王者、爾所目睹、今爾所往之諸國、主將待之亦如是、
