耶和華－你的神要使你的心和你後裔的心受割禮，好叫你盡心盡性愛耶和華－你的神，使你可以存活。

爾之上帝耶和華將潔爾心、爰及苗裔、使一心一意、愛爾上帝耶和華可以得生。

主爾之天主將潔爾心及爾後裔之心、使爾愛主爾之天主、可以得生、

The Lord your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, so that you may love him with all your heart and with all your soul, and live.

我也要賜給你們一顆新心，將新靈放在你們裏面，又從你們的肉體中除掉石心，賜給你們肉心。我必將我的靈放在你們裏面，使你們順從我的律例，謹守遵行我的典章。

我要使他們有合一的心，也要將新靈放在你們裏面，又從他們的肉體中除掉石心，賜給他們肉心，使他們順從我的律例，謹守遵行我的典章。他們要作我的子民，我要作他們的神。

我要使他們彼此同心同道，好叫他們永遠敬畏我，使他們和他們後世的子孫得享福樂。

你們也在他裏面受了不是人手所行的割禮，而是使你們脫去肉體情慾的基督的割禮。

猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民哪，你們當自行割禮，歸耶和華，將你們心裏的污穢除掉；免得我的憤怒因你們的惡行發作，如火燃起，甚至無人能熄滅！」

因為外表是猶太人的不是真猶太人；外表肉身的割禮也不是真割禮。惟有內心作猶太人的才是真猶太人，真割禮也是心裏的，在乎聖靈，不在乎儀文。這樣的人所受的稱讚不是從人來的，而是從神來的。

你要盡心、盡性、盡力愛耶和華－你的神。

所以，若有人在基督裏，他就是新造的人，舊事已過，都變成新的了。

若有人愛神，他就是神所認識的人了。

耶穌對他說：「你要盡心、盡性、盡意愛主－你的神。

愛我，守我誡命的，我必向他們施慈愛，直到千代。

我們知道，萬事都互相效力，叫愛神的人得益處，就是按他旨意被召的人。

以色列全家都要得救。如經上所記：「必有一位救主從錫安出來，要消除雅各家一切不虔不敬。」

耶穌回答他說：「我實實在在地告訴你，人若不重生，就不能見神的國。」尼哥德慕對他說：「人已經老了，如何能重生呢？豈能再進母腹生出來嗎？」耶穌回答：「我實實在在地告訴你，人若不是從水和聖靈生的，就不能進神的國。從肉身生的就是肉身；從靈生的就是靈。我說『你們必須重生』，你不要驚訝。

忍受試煉的人有福了，因為他經過考驗以後必得生命的冠冕，這是主應許給愛他之人的。

我親愛的弟兄們，請聽，神豈不是揀選了世上的貧窮人，使他們在信心上富足，並承受他所應許給那些愛他之人的國嗎？

就是埃及、猶大、以東、亞捫人、摩押人，和住曠野所有剃鬢髮的人；因為列國都未受割禮，以色列全家心中也未受割禮。」
