This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live

I’m calling for the heavens and the earth to be witnesses against you this very day. I’m offering you the choice of life or death. You can choose either blessings or curses. But I want you to choose life. Then you and your children will live.

I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live,

“当这一切的事，就是我摆在你面前的祝福和诅咒临到你的时候，你在耶和华—你上帝赶逐你去的万国中，心里回想这些事，

我选择了忠信的道路，将你的典章摆在我面前。

若你们认为事奉耶和华不好，今日就可以选择所要事奉的：是你们列祖在大河那边所事奉的神明，或是你们所住这地亚摩利人的神明呢？至于我和我家，我们必定事奉耶和华。”百姓回答说：“我们绝不离弃耶和华去事奉别神。因为耶和华—我们的上帝曾领我们和我们的祖宗从埃及地为奴之家出来，在我们眼前行了那些大神迹，并在我们所行的一切路上，和所经过的各民族中保护了我们。耶和华又把各民族和住此地的亚摩利人都从我们面前赶出去。所以，我们也必事奉耶和华，因为他是我们的上帝。”约书亚对百姓说：“你们不能事奉耶和华，因为他是神圣的上帝，是忌邪的上帝，必不赦免你们的过犯罪恶。你们若离弃耶和华去事奉外邦的神明，耶和华在降福之后，必转而降祸给你们，把你们灭绝。”百姓对约书亚说：“不，我们要事奉耶和华。”约书亚对百姓说：“你们选择耶和华，要事奉他，你们自己作证吧！”他们说：“我们愿意作证。”

但是不可少的只有一件。马利亚已经选择了那上好的福分，是没有人能从她夺去的。”

我今日呼天唤地向你们作见证，你们在过约旦河得为业的地上必迅速灭亡！你们在那地的日子必不长久，必全然灭绝。

我在上帝、基督耶稣和蒙拣选的天使面前嘱咐你要遵守这些话，不可存成见，做事也不可偏心。

当听耶和华说的话：起来，向山岭争辩，使冈陵听见你的声音。山岭啊，要听耶和华的指控！大地永久的根基啊，要听！因耶和华控告他的百姓，与以色列争辩。

我要使他们彼此同心同道，好叫他们永远敬畏我，使他们和他们后世的子孙得享福乐。

你们要召集你们支派的众长老和官长到我这里来，我好把这些话说给他们听，并且呼唤天地见证他们的不是。

我以你的法度为永远的产业，因这是我心中所喜爱的。

因为这应许是给你们和你们的儿女，并一切在远方的人，就是给所有主—我们的上帝所召来的人。”

“诸天哪，要侧耳听我说话；愿地聆听我口中的言语。

求你用你的手帮助我，因我选择你的训词。

诸天哪，要因此震惊，颤栗，极其凄凉！这是耶和华说的。因为我的百姓做了两件恶事：离弃我这活水的泉源；又为自己凿出水池，却是破裂不能储水的池子。”

天哪，要听！地啊，侧耳而听！因为耶和华说：“我养育儿女，将他们养大，他们竟悖逆我。

地啊，地啊，地啊，当听耶和华的话！耶和华如此说：“要把这人登记为无子，是平生不得亨通的人；因为他后裔中再无一人得亨通，能坐在大卫的宝座上治理犹大。”

因为他们恨恶知识，选择不敬畏耶和华，

因为耶和华如此说：“那些谨守我的安息日，选择我旨意，持守我约的太监，
