受割禮算不了甚麼，沒受割禮也算不了甚麼，只有遵守上帝的誡命最要緊。

所以你們要悔改、回轉過來，使你們的罪得擦掉，使舒爽之時期從主面前來到，

我乃是先向在大馬色和耶路撒冷的人，然後向猶太全地區以及外國、傳報，叫他們悔改、轉向上帝，行事跟悔改相稱。

但你們必從那裏尋求永恆主你的上帝；你若全心全意地尋找他，就會找着。

至於你本身呢，你卻要再聽永恆主的聲音，遵行他的一切誡命、就是我今日所吩咐你的。

惡人若回轉離開他的惡，行公平正義的事，他就必因此而得活着。

你們為甚麼花錢去買那不是食物的？為甚麼用你們勞碌得來的去買那不能使人飽足的呢？你們要注意聽我，就得以喫美物，心中以肥甘為樂趣。你們要傾耳以聽，要來找我！你們要聽，就得以活；我必跟你們立個永遠的約，就是施給大衛那可信可靠之堅愛的。

再者，我雖對惡人說：「你必定死」，然而他若轉離他的罪，行公平正義的事；

你要對他們說：主永恆主發神諭說：我指着永活的我來起誓：我絕不喜悅惡人死亡；我乃是喜歡惡人回轉離開他的行徑以得活着。回轉吧！回轉！離開你們的壞行徑哦！何必死亡呢、以色列家啊？

我們來檢討考查行徑，回歸永恆主吧。我們來獻心舉手向天上的上帝禱告吧：

你們若回轉來歸向我，謹守遵行我的誡命，那你們被趕散的人即使在天邊，我也必從那裏將他們招集回來，將他們帶到我所選擇使我名居住的地方。」

『但是惡人若回轉離開他所犯的一切罪，謹守我一切的律例，行公平正義的事，他必定活着，不至於早死。
