But because of you the Lord was angry with me and would not listen to me.“ That is enough,” the Lord said.“ Do not speak to me anymore about this matter.

當時耶和華緣爾故怒我、曰、爾不可入斯土、

曰、我今日一百有二十歲矣、不能復治斯民、耶和華嘗有諭言、不許我濟約但。

在米利巴水濱、民干主怒摩西因此、亦遭患難兮、民激摩西、摩西之氣、不能自遏、啟口而妄言兮。

耶和華諭之曰、昔我所誓亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各以地錫其後裔者即此、爾可目睹、惟不得濟。○

曰、吾子與、我欲為我上帝耶和華建殿、為籲厥名之所、素有此心、惟耶和華命我曰、爾四方戰鬥、殺人甚眾、故不可建殿、為籲我名之所、爾將生子、命名所羅門、彼喜平康、在世之日、我必拯之於群敵、錫綏安於以色列族、

昔在汛野、米利巴迦鐵之處爾曹逆我、不於以色列族前尊我、故爾不得至我所錫以色列族之地、惟觀之而已。

往告我僕大闢、耶和華有言曰、爾勿建殿、為我居處。

耶和華諭摩西曰、爾執杖、與亞倫集會眾、當其前命磐出水、蓋爾可使水出於磐、遍飲會眾、與諸牲畜。摩西取杖於聖所、遵耶和華命。摩西亞倫集會眾於磐前、曰、爾橫逆之輩、且聽我言、我將取水於磐、以飲爾眾。摩西舉杖、擊磐者二、水即汨汨其來、會眾群畜共飲焉。耶和華諭摩西亞倫曰、汝不信我、不尊我於以色列族前、故不得率斯眾入我所賜之地。

吾三求主、以此離我、

少進、俯伏祈禱曰、父與、若可得免、則以此杯去我、雖然、非從我所欲、乃從爾所欲也。

耶和華諭摩西曰、爾陟亞巴林山、觀我所賜以色列族之地、既觀之後、爾必返本、如爾兄亞倫然。昔在汛野、迦鐵境、米利巴水濱、會眾紛爭、爾於斯時悖逆我命、不於民前尊我。

彼將為我建殿、我必使其國祚恆久弗替、我必為其父、彼必為我子、我必待之以恩、不若前王、恩義已絕、

大闢王立、而告民曰、爾為我民、亦我兄弟、宜聽我言、我素志欲建殿宇、置我上帝耶和華法匱、及駐蹕之所、我曾備材、以待經營。上帝諭我曰、爾戰鬥殺人、不當建殿、為籲我名之地。以色列族之上帝耶和華、簡猶大族為長、在猶大族中、簡我父家為最、在我父眾子中、簡我永為以色列族王。

彼因我罪、而被傷殘、緣我咎而受瘡痍、彼遭刑罰、我享平康、彼見鞭扑、我得醫痊。我迷於歧途、譬諸亡羊、所向靡定、耶和華使我愆尤叢於其身、
