The Lord said to me,“ Do not be afraid of him, for I have delivered him into your hands, along with his whole army and his land. Do to him what you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon.”

The Lord said to me,“ Do not be afraid of Og. I have handed him over to you. I have also handed over his whole army and his land. Do to him what you did to Sihon. Sihon was the Amorite king who ruled in Heshbon.”

But the Lord said to me,‘ Do not fear him, for I have given him and all his people and his land into your hand. And you shall do to him as you did to Sihon the king of the Amorites, who lived at Heshbon.’

But the Lord told me,‘ Do not be afraid of him, for I have given you victory over Og and his entire army, and I will give you all his land. Treat him just as you treated King Sihon of the Amorites, who ruled in Heshbon.’

But the LORD said to me,‘ Do not fear him, for I have handed him over to you along with his whole army and his land. Do to him as you did to King Sihon of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon.’

But the Lord said to me,‘ Do not fear him, for I have handed him and all his people and his land over to you; and you shall do to him just as you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon.’

And Jehovah said unto me, Fear him not; for I have delivered him, and all his people, and his land, into thy hand; and thou shalt do unto him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon.

And the LORD said unto me, Fear him not: for I will deliver him, and all his people, and his land, into thy hand; and thou shalt do unto him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon.

The LORD, however, said to me,“ Don’t be afraid of him because I have already given him, his whole army, and his land to you. You will do to him exactly what you did to King Sihon of the Amorites who lived in Heshbon.”

Yahweh said to me,“ Don’t fear him; for I have delivered him, with all his people, and his land, into your hand. You shall do to him as you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived at Heshbon.”

你不要怕你將要受的苦。看哪！魔鬼將要把你們中間幾個人下在監裡，叫你們受試煉，你們要受患難十天。你要忠心至死，我就把那生命的冠冕賜給你。

猶大人和耶路撒冷人哪，這次你們不必出戰，只要穩守陣地，站立不動，看耶和華為你們施行的拯救。’你們不要懼怕，也不要驚慌；明天要出去攻擊他們，耶和華必和你們同在。”

西宏不容以色列人從他的境界經過，反而聚集了自己的人民，出到曠野去攻擊以色列人，西宏到了雅雜，與以色列人交戰。以色列人用刀擊殺了他，佔領了他的地，從亞嫩河到雅博河，直到亞捫人那裡，因為雅謝是亞捫人的邊界（本句或譯﹕“因為亞捫人有堅固的邊防”）。以色列人奪取了這一切城，也住在亞摩利人的各城，就是希實本，與屬於希實本的一切村莊。

耶和華對摩西說：“不要怕他，因為我已經把他和他的眾民，以及他的地都交在你手裡；你要待他，像從前待那住在希實本的亞摩利人的王西宏一樣。”

只要你們不背叛耶和華，就不必怕那地的人，因為他們是我們的食物；蔭庇他們的，已經離開他們了，耶和華卻與我們同在；不要怕他們。”

你不要懼怕，因為我與你同在；我必把你的後裔從東方領回來，又從西方招聚你。

‘保羅，不要怕。你必定可以站在凱撒面前；神已經把那些和你同船的人賜給你了。’

現在你要起來，出發，過亞嫩谷；看哪，我已經把亞摩利人希實本王西宏和他的土地，交在你的手裡了；你要開始佔領那地作產業，與他爭戰。就在今天，我要使天下萬民聽見你的消息都驚慌懼怕，而且因你的緣故發抖疼痛。’“我從基底莫的曠野，派使者到希實本王西宏那裡去，用和平的話說：‘求你讓我從你的地經過；我只走大道，不偏左也不偏右。你可以按著價錢把食物賣給我吃，也可以按著價錢把水賣給我喝；只要讓我步行過去就是了；好像住在西珥的以掃子孫，和住在亞珥的摩押人待我一樣，等我過約旦河，進到耶和華我們的神賜給我們的地去。’但是希實本王西宏不肯讓我們從他那裡經過，因為耶和華我們的神使他的心意頑固，使他的心剛硬，為要把他交在你的手裡，像今日一樣。耶和華對我說：‘看哪，我已經把西宏和他的地交給你了，你可以佔領他的地作產業。’“那時西宏和他所有的人民都出來，攻擊我們，在雅雜與我們作戰。耶和華我們的神把他交給了我們，我們就把他、他的兒子們和他所有的人民都擊殺了。那時我們奪取了他所有的城邑，把每一座城，連男帶女，以及小孩子都全部毀滅，沒有留下一個存活的；只留下我們掠為己有的牲畜，和我們奪取城邑所得的戰利品。從亞嫩谷旁邊的亞羅珥和谷中的城，直到基列，沒有一座城太高，是我們不能攻下的；耶和華我們的神把這一切都交給我們了。只有亞捫人的地，雅博河一帶的地方，和山地的城市，以及耶和華我們的神吩咐我們不可去的地方，我們都沒有走近。”
