人必回答說：『是因這地的人離棄了耶和華－他們列祖的神，領他們出埃及地的時候與他們所立的約，

人就必回答：‘是因为他们离弃了耶和华他们列祖的神的约，就是耶和华把他们从埃及地领出来的时候，与他们所立的；

那麼人就必說：「是因為這地的人背棄了他們列祖的上帝的約，背棄了上帝在領他們出埃及時與他們所立的約，

人將對曰、其祖之上帝耶和華、導之出埃及時、與之立約、而彼背之、

人必曰、昔導斯民出於埃及、其祖之上帝耶和華與之立約、斯民違其言、

人必對曰、緣斯民列祖之主天主、昔導之出伊及、與之立約而民背之、

And the answer will be:“ It is because this people abandoned the covenant of the Lord, the God of their ancestors, the covenant he made with them when he brought them out of Egypt.

And they will hear the answer,“ It’s because the people living there have broken the covenant of the Lord. He’s the God of their people of long ago. He made that covenant with them when he brought them out of Egypt.

Then people will say,‘ It is because they abandoned the covenant of the Lord, the God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them out of the land of Egypt,

Then men shall say, Because they forsook the covenant of Jehovah, the God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt,

Then people will answer,‘ It is because they abandoned the covenant of Yahweh, the God of their fathers, which He had made with them when He brought them out of the land of Egypt.

Then men shall say, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt:

Then people will say,“ Because they abandoned the covenant of the LORD, the God of their ancestors, which he made with them when he brought them out of the land of Egypt.

Then men will say,“ Because they abandoned the covenant of Yahweh, the God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them out of the land of Egypt,

我向我的百姓發怒，使我的產業被褻瀆，將他們交在你手中，你毫不憐憫他們，把極重的軛加在老年人身上。

看哪，耶和華使地空虛，變為荒涼；又翻轉大地，將居民分散。那時百姓怎樣，祭司也怎樣；僕人怎樣，主人也怎樣；婢女怎樣，主母也怎樣；買物的怎樣，賣物的也怎樣；放債的怎樣，借債的也怎樣；取利的怎樣，出利的也怎樣。地必全然空虛，盡都荒涼；因為這話是耶和華說的。地上悲哀衰殘，世界敗落衰殘；地上居高位的人也敗落了。地被其上的居民污穢；因為他們犯了律法，廢了律例，背了永約。所以，地被咒詛吞滅；住在其上的顯為有罪。地上的居民被火焚燒，剩下的人稀少。

不像我拉着他們祖宗的手，領他們出埃及地的時候，與他們所立的約。我雖作他們的丈夫，他們卻背了我的約。這是耶和華說的。」

凡遇見他們的，就把他們吞滅。敵人說：『我們沒有罪；因他們得罪那作公義居所的耶和華，就是他們列祖所仰望的耶和華。』

不像我拉着他們祖宗的手，領他們出埃及的時候，與他們所立的約。因為他們不恆心守我的約，我也不理他們。這是主說的。

護衛長將耶利米叫來，對他說：「耶和華－你的神曾說要降這禍與此地。耶和華使這禍臨到，照他所說的行了；因為你們得罪耶和華，沒有聽從他的話，所以這事臨到你們。

他們必回答說：『是因離棄了耶和華－他們神的約，事奉敬拜別神。』」

他說：「我為耶和華－萬軍之神大發熱心；因為以色列人背棄了你的約，毀壞了你的壇，用刀殺了你的先知，只剩下我一個人，他們還要尋索我的命。」耶和華說：「你出來站在山上，在我面前。」那時耶和華從那裏經過，在他面前有烈風大作，崩山碎石，耶和華卻不在風中；風後地震，耶和華卻不在其中；地震後有火，耶和華也不在火中；火後有微小的聲音。以利亞聽見，就用外衣蒙上臉，出來站在洞口。有聲音向他說：「以利亞啊，你在這裏做甚麼？」他說：「我為耶和華－萬軍之神大發熱心；因為以色列人背棄了你的約，毀壞了你的壇，用刀殺了你的先知，只剩下我一個人，他們還要尋索我的命。」
