爾之子女妻室、營中賓旅、自採薪者、及汲水者、俱立於爾上帝耶和華前、

爾子女妻室、與爾營中之外邦客旅、以及為爾析薪汲水者、俱立於主爾之天主前、

together with your children and your wives, and the foreigners living in your camps who chop your wood and carry your water.

Your children and wives are here with you too. So are the outsiders living in your camps. They chop your wood and carry your water.

your little ones, your wives, and the sojourner who is in your camp, from the one who chops your wood to the one who draws your water,

Your little ones and your wives are with you, as well as the foreigners living among you who chop your wood and carry your water.

your dependents, your wives, and the resident aliens in your camps who cut your wood and draw your water—

your little ones, your wives, and the stranger who is within your camps, from the one who gathers your firewood to the one who draws your water,

your little ones and your wives— also the stranger who is in your camp, from the one who cuts your wood to the one who draws your water—

your little ones, your wives, and thy sojourner that is in the midst of thy camps, from the hewer of thy wood unto the drawer of thy water;

your children, your wives, and the foreigners in your camps who cut your wood and draw your water—

Your little ones, your wives, and thy stranger that[ is] in thy camp, from the hewer of thy wood unto the drawer of thy water:

your infants, your wives, and the foreigners living in your encampment, those who chop wood and those who carry water–

your little ones, your wives, and the foreigners who are in the middle of your camps, from the one who cuts your wood to the one who draws your water,

又有混雜多族的一群人和他們一同上去；他們還帶著羊群牛群和無數的牲畜同去。

並不分猶太人或希臘人，作奴僕的或自由人，男的或女的，因為你們在基督耶穌裡都成為一體了。

如果有外族人寄居在你們中間，也願向耶和華守逾越節，他所有的男子都要受割禮，然後他才可以前來守逾越節；他就必像本地人一樣，但所有未受割禮的人都不可以吃這羊羔。本地人和寄居在你們中間的外族人，都同屬一例。”

他們中間的閒雜人起了貪慾，甚至連以色列人也哭著說：“誰給我們肉吃呢？

在這一方面，並不分希臘人和猶太人，受割禮的和未受割禮的，未開化的人和西古提人，奴隸和自由人，唯有基督是一切，也在一切之內。

眾首領又對會眾說：“要讓他們存活。”於是他們就給全體會眾作了劈柴打水的人，這是按照眾首領對他們的吩咐。約書亞把他們召了來，質問他們：“你們為甚麼欺騙我們說：‘我們離你們很遠’，其實你們卻是住在這地的？現在你們要受到咒詛，你們中間必不斷有人作奴僕，為我神的聖所作劈柴打水的人。”他們回答約書亞，說：“因為你的僕人確實地聽見，耶和華你的神曾經吩咐他的僕人摩西，要把這整片土地賜給你們，並且要在你們面前把這地上所有的居民都消滅，因此，我們因你們的緣故，很怕喪命，才行了這事。現在，你看，我們都在你的手裡，你看怎樣處置我們算為好、算為對，就怎樣行吧。”約書亞就這樣處置他們，救了他們脫離以色列人的手，以色列人就沒有殺他們。在那一天，約書亞指派他們在耶和華選擇的地方，為會眾和耶和華的祭壇作劈柴打水的人，直到今日。

但第七日是屬於耶和華你神的安息日；這一日，你和你的兒女、僕婢、牛驢和一切牲畜，以及你城裡的寄居者，不可作任何的工，好使你的僕婢可以和你一樣享受安息。
