Among those nations you will find no repose, no resting place for the sole of your foot. There the Lord will give you an anxious mind, eyes weary with longing, and a despairing heart.

Among those nations you won’t find any peace. There won’t be any place where you can make your home and rest your feet. The Lord will give you minds filled with worry. He’ll give you eyes worn out from looking for help. You won’t have any hope in your hearts.

And among these nations you shall find no respite, and there shall be no resting place for the sole of your foot, but the Lord will give you there a trembling heart and failing eyes and a languishing soul.

There among those nations you will find no peace or place to rest. And the Lord will cause your heart to tremble, your eyesight to fail, and your soul to despair.

你的百姓三分之一必遭瘟疫而死，因饥荒在你们中间而消灭；三分之一必在你四围倒在刀下；我必将三分之一分散四方，要拔刀追赶他们。“我要这样发尽我的怒气；我向他们发的愤怒停止以后，自己就得到平息。当我向他们发尽我的愤怒时，他们就知道我—耶和华所说的是出于妒忌。在四围的列国中，我要使你成为荒凉，在所有过路人的眼前看为羞辱。这样，我必以怒气、愤怒和烈怒的责备，向你施行审判。那时，它就在四围的列国中成为羞辱、讥刺、警戒、惊骇；这是我—耶和华说的。我向灭亡的人射出饥荒的恶箭，将它们射出，毁灭你们；那时，我要加重你们的饥荒，断绝你们粮食的供应。我要令饥荒和恶兽临到你，使你丧失儿女。瘟疫和流血的事必在你那里盛行，我也要使刀剑临到你。这是我—耶和华说的。”

耶和华如狮子吼叫，他的儿女必跟随他。他一吼叫，他们就从西方战兢而来。他们必如雀鸟从埃及战兢而来，又如鸽子从亚述地来到。我必使他们住自己的房屋；这是耶和华说的。

耶路撒冷啊，兴起，兴起！站起来！你从耶和华手中喝了他愤怒的杯，那使人东倒西歪的杯，直到喝尽。

“你们说：‘我们要像列国和列邦的宗族一样，去事奉木头与石头。’你们所起的心意万不能成就。”“主耶和华说：我指着我的永生起誓，我要作王，用大能的手和伸出的膀臂，并倾倒出来的愤怒治理你们。我必用大能的手和伸出的膀臂，并倾倒出来的愤怒，把你们从万民中领出来，从被赶散到的列邦聚集你们。我必带你们到万民的旷野，在那里当面审判你们。

人想到那要临到世界的事，就都吓得魂不附体，因为天上的万象都要震动。

“人子啊，你吃饭时必战抖，喝水时必惊惶忧虑。你要对这地的百姓说：主耶和华论以色列地的耶路撒冷居民如此说，他们吃饭时必忧虑，喝水时必惊惶，因其中居民所行残暴的事，这地必然荒废，一无所存。

“看哪，我发命令，使以色列家在万国中飘流，好像人用筛子筛谷，连一粒也不落在地上。我子民中所有的罪人，就是那些说‘灾祸必不靠近，必不追上我们’的，都必死在刀下。”

我听见这声音，身体战兢，嘴唇发颤，骨中朽烂，在所立之处战兢；但我安静等候灾难之日临到那上来侵犯我们的民。

但全地面都是水，鸽子找不到落脚之地，就回到方舟挪亚那里。挪亚伸手接了鸽子，把它带进方舟。
