Among those nations you will find no repose, no resting place for the sole of your foot. There the Lord will give you an anxious mind, eyes weary with longing, and a despairing heart.

Among those nations you won’t find any peace. There won’t be any place where you can make your home and rest your feet. The Lord will give you minds filled with worry. He’ll give you eyes worn out from looking for help. You won’t have any hope in your hearts.

And among these nations you shall find no respite, and there shall be no resting place for the sole of your foot, but the Lord will give you there a trembling heart and failing eyes and a languishing soul.

There among those nations you will find no peace or place to rest. And the Lord will cause your heart to tremble, your eyesight to fail, and your soul to despair.

我的神說：“惡人必沒有平安。”

求你使他們的心頑梗，願你的咒詛臨到他們。

這一切不過是痛苦的開始。

看哪！我的僕人必因心裡高興而歡呼，你們卻要因心中傷痛而哀叫，因靈裡破碎而哀號。

你的人民三分之一必在你中間因瘟疫死亡，因饑荒消滅；三分之一必在你周圍因刀劍倒斃；三分之一，我要分散到四方去，我還要拔刀追趕他們。“這樣我的怒氣才可以發盡，我向他們所發的烈怒才可以平息，自己才得到舒暢。我向他們所發的烈怒完全發盡的時候，他們就知道我耶和華說過的話是出於嫉恨的心。我要使你變成荒地，使你在你四圍的列國中和在所有路過的人眼前，成為羞辱的對象。我以怒氣、烈怒和忿怒的責備向你施行審判的時候，你就必在你四圍的列國中成為羞辱、譏諷和令人驚駭的對象，也成了他們的警戒。這是我耶和華說的。我射出饑荒和毀滅的毒箭的時候，是為了毀滅你們。我要使你們的饑荒加劇，斷絕你們糧食的供應。我要差遣饑荒和惡獸到你們那裡去，使你喪掉兒女；在你中間必到處發生瘟疫和流血的事；我也必使刀劍臨到你。這是我耶和華說的。”

他們必跟隨耶和華；耶和華要像獅子吼叫；他一吼叫，他們就從西方戰戰兢兢而來。他們必戰戰兢兢而來，像從埃及趕來的飛鳥，如從亞述地趕來的鴿子，我要使他們住在自己的房子裡。這是耶和華說的。

耶路撒冷啊，醒來！醒來！站起來吧！你從耶和華的手中喝了他烈怒的杯，喝盡了那使人搖搖擺擺的爵。

你們說：我們要像列國的人，像列邦的各族一樣去事奉木頭和石頭。你們心裡所起的這意念，必不能成就。“‘我指著我的永生起誓：我必用大能的手，伸出來的膀臂，以及倒出來的烈怒，統治你們。這是主耶和華的宣告。我必用大能的手，伸出來的膀臂，以及倒出來的烈怒，把你們從萬族中領出來，從你們所分散到的列邦招聚你們。我要把你們帶到萬族的曠野，在那裡當面審判你們。

天上的萬象震動，人因為等待即將臨到世界的事，都嚇昏了。

“人子啊！你要戰戰兢兢地吃你的飯，滿心憂慮地喝你的水。你要對這地的人民說：‘論到耶路撒冷的居民和以色列地，主耶和華這樣說：他們要滿心憂慮地吃他們的飯，十分驚惶地喝他們的水；因為所有居民的強暴，這地必全然荒涼。

耶和華說：“看哪！我必下令，我必在列國中篩以色列家，好像人用篩子篩穀，但穀粒不會落在地上。我民中所有犯罪的人，就是那些說：‘災禍必不臨近、追上我們’的人，他們必死在刀下。

我一聽見，就全身發抖；因這聲音，我嘴唇震顫。腐爛侵蝕我骨，我在站立之地戰兢。我靜候災難之日，犯境的民上來。

因為遍地都是水，那鴿子找不著歇腳的地方，就回到挪亞的方舟那裡；於是，挪亞伸出手去，把鴿子接進方舟裡來。
