永恆主必從遠方、從地儘邊把一國的人帶來像兀鷹突飛猛攫來攻擊你。這一國說的話你不曉得聽，

“耶和华要从远方、地极带一国的民，如鹰飞来攻击你。这民的言语，你不懂得。

“耶和华要使一国从遥远的地极兴起，他们要如鹰飞来袭击你们。你们不懂他们的语言。

“耶和华必从远方，从地极把一国的民带来，像鹰一般飞来攻击你；这民的语言你不会听；

The Lord will bring a nation against you from far away, from the ends of the earth, like an eagle swooping down, a nation whose language you will not understand,

“ The Lord will bring a distant nation against you from the end of the earth, and it will swoop down on you like a vulture. It is a nation whose language you do not understand,

“ The Lord will bring a nation against you from far away, from the end of the earth, as the eagle swoops down; a nation whose language you will not understand,

口吹號角哦！敵人如鷹來攻打永恆主的家了；因為這人民越犯了我的約，違背了我的律法。

追趕我們的比空中的鷹還快；他們在山上把我們追得火急，在曠野埋伏等着我們。

看吧，必有一人像鷹、展開翅膀疾飛猛攫波斯拉；當那日子以東勇士的心必疼痛，如臨產婦人的心一樣。』

因為永恆主這麼說：『看吧，必有一人像鷹展開翅膀疾飛猛攫摩押。

永恆主發神諭說：以色列家啊，看吧，我必使一國的人從遠方來攻擊你：是個持久不敗的國，是個從古就有的國：這一個國、它的語言你不曉得；他們說甚麼、你不曉得聽。他們的箭袋像敞開的墳墓；他們都是勇士。他們必喫盡你的莊稼和糧食，喫盡你的兒子和女兒，喫盡你的羊羣和牛羣，喫盡你的葡萄和無花果；你所倚靠的堡壘城、他們必用刀劍來毁壞。』

他必豎起旌旗招一國的人從遠方而來，吹口哨叫他們從地儘邊來到；看吧，他們必迅速輕快地趕來；他們中間沒有疲乏或跌倒的，沒有打盹或睡覺的；他們的腰帶並不放鬆，他們的鞋帶也不折斷；他們的箭快利，他們的弓都上了弦；他們的馬蹄算來像火石，他們的車輪好像旋風。他們的吼叫像母獅；他們吼叫像少壯獅子；他們咆哮，攫取可抓撕的，逕自叼去，無人援救。當那日子、他們必向這地咆吼着，就像海嘯之嘩嘩；人若望着這地，就只見黑暗災難；亮光在雲霧中都變為黑暗了。

說：主永恆主這麼說：有一隻鷹、翅膀大、翎翼長、羽毛豐滿、具有五彩色的、來到利巴嫩，將香柏樹的梢兒擰去；

『你要對叛逆之家說：你們不知道這些事是甚麼意思麼？你要告訴他們說：看哪，巴比倫王曾經來到耶路撒冷，將其中的王和首領帶到巴比倫自己那裏。

我的上帝差遣了他的使者、封住獅子的口，叫獅子不傷害我；因為我在上帝面前他都見我無辜；在你面前、王啊，我也沒有行過害人的事。』當下王非常高興，便吩咐人將但以理從坑裏繫上來。於是但以理便從坑裏被繫上來，他身上並不見有任何傷損，因為他信靠他的上帝。

六十二個七之後，必有一位受膏者要被剪除，而一無所有；必有一位將來的人君的兵眾來毁滅這城和這聖所。其結局必在橫流淹沒中；必有爭戰直到末了；荒涼的事乃是鐵定了的。

因為日子必臨到你，你的仇敵必給你環築起土壘來，周圍環繞你，四面困住你，摔毁你和你裏面你那些兒女，不容你裏面有一塊石頭留在一塊石頭上；因為你認不出你被鑒察的時機。』

律法上記載着：『主說：我要用說別種語言的人、用別種人的嘴脣、向這人民說話；雖然如此，他們還是不聽順我！』

看吧，仇敵必如雲上來，他的戰車如旋風，他的馬比鷹還快：我們有禍了！我們敗亡啦！

永恆主這麼說：『看吧，必有一族之民從北方之地而來，必有一個大國被激動，從地之極處來到。他們拿着弓和短槍；性很殘忍，毫無憐憫。其聲音如洋海之匉訇；他們都騎着馬，擺上隊，如上戰場的人要攻擊你了，錫安小姐啊。』

但是必有船從基提那邊而來，苦害亞書利，苦害大河那邊，亞書利也必至於滅亡。』

因為你看吧，我在激起迦勒底人、那殘酷暴躁的國、那向廣大地區進發、佔據不屬自己住處的。他們威武可畏而可懼怕，判斷與破毁任由自己作出。

不是去找說話深奧、語言難懂的許多外族之民，他們的話是你不曉得聽的；我若差遣你去找他們，他們就必聽你。

「屍體在哪裏，兀鷹也必聚在哪裏。」
