敵將飛至如鷹、向波斯拉展翼、當是日以東武士心驚膽怯、若婦臨產、○

必樹旗召遠方之族、呼之自地極而來、彼必疾行、迅速而至、其中無人困乏顛蹶、不寢不寐、腰帶不解、屨帶不斷、箭悉磨礪、弓盡開張、馬蹏堅如火石、車輪疾如旋風、狂吼如牝獅、咆哮如壯獅、咆哮攫物、曳之而去、莫能救援、當斯日、敵軍向民而呼、勢如海濤澎湃、民若望地、盡幽暗艱難、光明蔽於密雲而晦冥、

告之曰、主天主如是云、有一巨鷹、翼大羽長、翎毛豐滿、采色俱備、至利巴嫩、在柏香木巔取柏香木之枝、

當告悖逆之族曰、爾曹知是乎、可告之曰、巴比倫王至耶路撒冷、將其王與牧伯遷至巴比倫、

我之天主、遣其使者閉獅之口、使獅不傷我、因我無辜於天主前、我於王前、亦未行不善、王欣喜不勝、命取但以理出穴、遂取之出穴、其身毫無所傷、因信其天主也、

六十二七後、受膏者見絕、並非為己也、必有王軍至、毀城與聖所、終必滅亡、若為洪水所淹、必有毀滅之事、直至爭戰已畢、必有毀滅之事直至爭戰已畢或作至於末終必有爭戰及毀滅之事

日將至、爾敵必築壘攻爾、四圍困爾、盡毀爾、滅爾赤子於爾內、不留一石於石上、因爾不知眷顧爾之日、○

經載云、主曰、我雖以異言異辭語斯民、彼仍不聽我、

敵人如雲而來、車如颶風、馬疾於鷹、我儕敗亡、禍哉禍哉、

主如是云、有一族自北方而來、大邦之民、勃然而興、自地極而至、執弓執戟、殘忍不慈、聲若海濤、郇邑邑原文作女歟、彼俱乘馬、合若一人、列陣攻爾、

必有人乘舟自基提而至、苦虐亞述、苦虐希伯、彼終亦必滅亡、

我將使迦勒底人興起、斯族殘忍暴躁、徧行天下、天下原文作寛闊之地強據非己之邑、可畏可懼、下令決事、惟隨己意、下令決事惟隨己意或作其權衡威勢由己而出

我不遣爾就言語不通之列邦、其方言爾所不識、我若遣爾就彼、彼必聽爾、

屍何在、鵰鷹集焉、○
