看哪！必有一人像大鹰飞扑而来，展开翅膀攻击波斯拉；在那日，以东勇士的心必惊慌，像临产妇人的心一样。

因为耶和华这样说：“看哪！必有一人像大鹰疾飞，展开翅膀攻击摩押。

以色列家啊！我必使一国从远方来攻击你们。”这是耶和华的宣告。“那国历久不衰，从古就有；他们的言语你们不懂得，他们所说的你们不明白。他们的箭囊像敞开的坟墓，他们尽都是勇士。他们必吞灭你们的庄稼和粮食，吞灭你的儿女，你们的羊群牛群，以及你们的葡萄和无花果；他们也必用刀剑毁坏你们所倚仗的坚固城。

他必竖立旗帜，招一国的人从远方而来，发出哨声把他们从地极召来；看！他们必急速快奔而来。他们当中没有疲倦的，没有绊倒的，没有打盹的，也没有睡觉的；他们的腰带没有放松，鞋带也没有折断。他们的箭锐利，所有的弓都上了弦；他们的马蹄看来像火石，车辆似旋风。他们的吼叫像母狮，他们的咆哮如幼狮；他们咆哮，攫取猎物，把它叼去，无人援救。到那日，他们要向以色列人咆哮，像海浪的澎湃声一样；人若望着这地，就只见黑暗与灾难；光在云中也成了黑暗。

说：‘主耶和华这样说：有一只大鹰，翅膀大，翎毛长，羽毛丰富，彩色缤纷，来到黎巴嫩，把香柏树的树梢取去；

“你要对那叛逆的民族说：‘你们不知道这些事是什么意思吗？’你要告诉他们：‘看哪！巴比伦王曾到耶路撒冷来，把其中的王和众领袖掳去，带他们到巴比伦那里去。

我的神差遣了他的使者，封住狮子的口，使它们没有伤害我，因为我在神面前是清白的；王啊！在你面前我也没有作过任何错事。”王就非常高兴，吩咐人把但以理从坑里拉上来。于是但以理从坑里被拉上来，他身上一点损伤也没有，因为他信靠他的神。

六十二个七以后，受膏者必被剪除，一无所有（“一无所有”或译：“不再存在”）；那将要来的领袖的人民必毁灭这城和圣所。结局必像洪水而来；必有争战直到末了；荒凉的事已经定了。

日子将到，你的仇敌必筑垒攻击你，周围环绕你，四面困住你，要摧毁你和你里面的儿女，没有一块石头留在另一块石头上面，因为你不知道那眷顾你的时期。”

律法上记着说：“主说：我要藉着说别种话的人，用外国人的嘴唇，对这人民说话；虽然这样，他们还是不听我。”

看哪！他必如密云涌聚，他的战车如旋风，他的马比鹰还快。我们有祸了，我们灭亡了！

耶和华这样说：“看哪！有一个民族从北方之地而来，有一大国被激动从地极来到。他们紧握弓和枪，性情残忍，毫无怜悯；他们的声音像海洋怒吼；锡安的居民（“居民”原文作“女子”）哪！他们骑着战马，在战场上如同一人，列阵攻击你们。”

必有船从基提而来，苦害亚述，苦害希伯；他却要灭亡。”

就是要兴起迦勒底人，那残忍凶暴的民；他们遍行全地，占领别人的家园。他们恐怖可怕，自以为义，趾高气扬。

不是到说话难明、言语难懂的众多民族那里去，他们的话是你听不懂的。但是，如果我差派你到他们那里去，他们必听从你。

尸首在哪里，鹰也必聚在哪里。
