那日是黑暗幽冥的日子，是密云漆黑的日子。有一队众多强盛的民来到，好像晨光满布群山；这样的事从前没有发生过，以后直到万代，也不会发生。在他们前面有吞灭的火，在他们后面有燃烧的火焰；他们未到以前，大地像伊甸园，他们过去以后，大地成了荒凉的旷野，没有一样能逃避他们的。他们的形状像马的形状，战马怎样奔跑，他们也怎样奔跑。

因为你忘记了那拯救你的神，又不记念那作你避难所的磐石，所以你虽然栽下佳美的树秧子，种下异种的幼苗，又在你栽种的日子里，细心地在周围圈上篱笆，到早晨，又使你所栽种的开花，但在愁苦与极度伤痛的日子里，所收割的就只有一小堆。

次日黎明的时候，神安排一条虫子，蛀蚀这棵蓖麻，蓖麻就枯槁了。
