The Lord will cause you to be defeated before your enemies. You will come at them from one direction but flee from them in seven, and you will become a thing of horror to all the kingdoms on earth.

The Lord will help your enemies win the battle over you. You will come at them from one direction. But you will run away from them in every direction. All the kingdoms on earth will be completely shocked when they see you.

一个敌人就可以威吓你们一千个人，若五个敌人威吓你们，你们都要逃跑了！以致你们所剩下的，必孤立如同山顶上的旗杆，冈陵上的旗帜。

我必使他们成为地上万国所惊恐、所讨厌的；在我赶逐他们到的各地方，成为被人羞辱、讥笑、嘲弄、咒诅的对象。

“那起来攻击你的仇敌，耶和华必使他们在你面前被击败；他们从一条路出来攻击你，必在你面前从七条路逃跑。

如果不是他们的磐石把他们出卖了，如果不是耶和华把他们交出来，一人怎能追赶一千人，二人怎能使万人逃跑呢？

我向你们变脸，你们就败在仇敌面前；恨恶你们的要管辖你们；虽然没有人追赶，你们仍然逃跑。

如果他们问你：‘我们要去哪里？’你就告诉他们：‘耶和华这样说：该死亡的，就死亡；该被刀剑所杀的，就被刀剑所杀；该遭遇饥荒的，就遭遇饥荒；该被掳的，就被掳去！’我要命定四种刑罚对付他们，就是刀剑杀戮，尸体被野狗拖走，被空中的飞鸟和地上的走兽吞吃与毁灭。”这是耶和华的宣告。“因犹大王希西家的儿子玛拿西在耶路撒冷的所作所为，我必使地上万国看见他们的遭遇就惊恐。”“耶路撒冷啊！谁会可怜你呢？谁会为你悲伤呢？谁会转身向你问安呢？你离弃了我，你转身背着我；因此我要伸手攻击你，毁灭你，我不会再回心转意。”这是耶和华的宣告。“我在这地的城门口，用簸箕簸了我的子民，使他们丧掉儿女，使他们灭亡；他们仍不转离自己所行的路。我使他们寡妇的数目比海沙还多；我使行毁灭的在午间临到我的子民，打击年轻人的母亲，使痛苦的惊恐忽然临到她们身上。那生过七个子女的母亲衰竭疲弱，几乎气绝；还在白昼，她的太阳已经西落，她必惭愧蒙羞。我必使他们余剩的人在敌人面前死于刀下。”这是耶和华的宣告。

至于你们剩下的人，我必使他们在仇敌之地胆战心惊；风吹落叶也会吓跑他们；他们必逃跑，好像逃避刀剑一样；虽然无人追赶，他们却跌倒。虽然无人追赶，他们却像面临刀剑，彼此撞跌；你们在仇敌面前，不能站立得住。

我必用刀剑、饥荒、瘟疫追赶他们，使他们成为地上万国所惊惧的，在我赶逐他们到的各国中，成为令人惊骇、被人咒骂、嗤笑、羞辱的对象。

“所以，耶和华这样说：‘你们各人没有听从我，向兄弟、同胞宣告自由；看哪！我现在向你们宣告自由，容让你们遭受刀剑、瘟疫和饥荒，使你们成为地上万国所惊惧的。’这是耶和华的宣告。

他们将倒在刀下，被掳到各国，耶路撒冷必被外族人践踏，直到外族人的日期满足。
