耶和華曰、時日伊邇、我與以色列族猶大家將立新約。昔我佑厥祖導出埃及、與之立約為彼所爽、我擯之弗顧、今復立約、必不若是。我必與以色列族、共立新約、我將以我律法、置其衷、銘其心、我為彼上帝、彼為我民。

蓋以色列族、遊於曠野、歷四十年、迨出埃及之武士殞沒、昔耶和華誓以產乳與蜜之地錫於斯眾、因其違命、故再發誓、不許得見斯土。

今所立之約尤善、其許人之福更大、耶穌為其中保、故受職至尊、如前之約罔缺、則後之約毋庸、惟主視其有缺、故諭眾曰、時日伊邇、我與以色列猶大民、將別立新約、此約、與我援其祖出埃及時所立之約異、彼不恆守我舊約、我檳之弗顧、當日之後、吾必與以色列民、共立新約、吾將以我律法、置其衷、銘其心、我將為彼上帝、彼將為我民、

我耶和華爾之上帝、區別爾曹、異於凡民、許爾得地、賜爾產乳與蜜之土、

以其箴言、繫於手、服於顙、銘於橛、書於門、以為記錄。

爾即吾書、載於吾心、眾知而讀者、爾乃基督明晰之書、我作之、非書以墨、乃以永生上帝之神、非鐫於石碑、乃於人心之碑、

我與爾祖誓、錫以產乳與蜜之地、必踐前言、今日之事為徵、如爾不從斯約之言、禍必不遠。耶利米曰、耶和華與、余敢不惟命是行。

曰爾遣我所往之地、我已至焉、果產乳蜜、此其果也。

產乳與蜜、如耶和華悅我、必導我至彼、以地賜我。
