Don’t have two different scales. Don’t have scales that cause things to seem heavier or lighter than they really are.

A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight.

Saying,‘ When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell grain? And the Sabbath, that we may market wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel large, and dealing falsely with balances of deceit;

Honest balances and scales are Yahweh’s; all the weights in the bag are his work.

“‘ You shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in measures of length, of weight, or of quantity.You shall have just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin. I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt.“‘ You shall observe all my statutes and all my ordinances, and do them. I am Yahweh.’”

Shall I be pure with dishonest scales, and with a bag of deceitful weights?Her rich men are full of violence, her inhabitants speak lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their speech.

Differing weights and differing measures, both of them alike are an abomination to Yahweh.
