When you are harvesting in your field and you overlook a sheaf, do not go back to get it. Leave it for the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow, so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

When you are gathering crops in your field, you might leave some grain behind by mistake. Don’t go back to get it. Leave it behind for outsiders and widows. Leave it for children whose fathers have died. Then the Lord your God will bless you in everything you do.

让你们城中没有土地的利未人、寄居者和孤儿寡妇都可以来吃饱。这样，你们的上帝耶和华必使你们凡事蒙福。

有人乐善好施，反倒越来越富；有人一毛不拔，反而越来越穷。慷慨好施的必得昌盛，恩待他人的必蒙恩待。

把你们的食物分给饥饿的人，接待无家可归的穷人，送衣服给赤身露体的人，不躲避求助的亲人。如果你们这样做，你们的光必如晨光照耀，你们的创伤必迅速痊愈，你们的公义必在前方为你们开路，耶和华的荣耀必在后面保护你们。你们求告，我必应允；你们呼求，我必回应。如果你们不再欺压、指责、毁谤，如果你们给饥饿的人食物，扶助困苦的人，你们的光必照亮黑暗，你们的黑夜必变成正午。耶和华必不断地引导你们，使你们在干旱之地也能得到供应，筋骨强健。你们必像灌溉充足的园子，又像涌流不息的泉源。

相反，你设宴时，要邀请贫穷的、残疾的、瘸腿的、瞎眼的，这样你就有福了，因为他们都没有能力回报你，到了义人复活那天，上帝一定会赏赐你。”

然后，你们要在你们的上帝耶和华面前宣告，‘我们已经按照你的诫命，从我们家里拿出圣物分给利未人、寄居者和孤儿寡妇。我们没有触犯也没有忘记你的任何诫命。

善待穷人的有福了！耶和华必救他们脱离困境。耶和华必保护他们，救他们的性命，使他们在地上享福，不让仇敌恶谋得逞。他们生病在床，耶和华必看顾，使他们康复。

高尚的人计划高尚的事，在高尚的事上持之以恒。

你们打橄榄时，打过一次后不可再打，要把剩下的留给孤儿寡妇和寄居者。你们摘葡萄时，摘过一次后不可再摘，要把剩下的留给孤儿寡妇和寄居者。

他慷慨施舍，周济穷人；他的仁义永远长存；他必充满力量，得享尊荣。

要记住：“少种的少收，多种的多收。”各人心里想捐多少就捐多少，不要勉强，不要为难。因为捐得甘心乐意的人才是上帝所喜爱的。上帝能够将各样的恩典多多赐给你们，使你们在各方面常常富足有余，可以多行各样的善事。

耶和华赐给约伯晚年的福分比起初更多：他有一万四千只羊、六千只骆驼、一千对牛和一千头母驴。

如果一个丰衣足食的人看见贫穷的弟兄姊妹，却毫无怜悯之心，怎能说他爱上帝呢？所以，孩子们啊，不要单在口头上说爱人，总要以真诚的行动表现出来。这样，我们必知道自己属于真理，即使我们心中自责，也可以在上帝面前心安，因为上帝比我们的心大，祂知道一切。

你们要给他人，这样上帝必给你们，并且会用大号升斗摇匀压实，满满地倒给你们，因为你们用什么样的量器量给别人，上帝也会用什么样的量器量给你们。”

你们要慷慨给予，并且无怨无悔，因为耶和华必在你们所做的一切事上赐福给你们。

我何曾拒绝穷人的请求，或使寡妇眼露失望之情，或独吞我的食物，不与孤儿同享？我自幼就如父亲般抚养孤儿，我自出母胎就照顾寡妇。倘若我见有人冻得要死，或有穷人衣不蔽体，却没有把我的羊毛给他们御寒，以致他们向我道谢；倘若我仗着在城门口有势力，就动手欺负孤儿，情愿我的肩膀从肩胛脱落，我的手臂从手肘折断。

藐视邻舍是罪过，怜悯穷人蒙福乐。

“然而，要爱你们的仇敌，善待他们；无论借出什么，都不要指望归还。这样，你们将有大赏赐，并且将成为至高者的儿子，因为祂以恩慈待那些忘恩负义和作恶的人。

甚至要从麦捆中抽一些出来让她捡，不要责骂她。”
