If a man marries a woman who becomes displeasing to him because he finds something indecent about her, and he writes her a certificate of divorce, gives it to her and sends her from his house,

Suppose a man marries a woman. But later he decides he doesn’t like her. He finds something shameful about her. So he gives her a letter of divorce and sends her away from his house.

他们就问：“为什么摩西却吩咐‘人若给了休书，就可以休妻’呢？”他说：“摩西因为你们的心硬，才准许你们休妻，但起初并不是这样。我告诉你们，凡休妻另娶的，如果不是因为妻子不贞，就是犯奸淫了。”

罚他一千一百四十克银子，交给那少女的父亲，因为他破坏了一个以色列处女的名誉；那少女仍要作他的妻子，终生不能休她。

“如果人娶妻，和她同房之后，就恨她，

因背道的以色列犯了淫乱，我就给她休书，把她休了。我看见她诡诈的妹妹犹大还是不惧怕，照样行淫。

如果他另娶一个妻子，那么，对她的饮食、衣着和性的需要，仍然不可减少。

耶和华这样说：“我离弃了你们的母亲，休书在哪里呢？或者我的债主中，哪一个是我把你们卖了给他的呢？看哪！你们被卖是因你们的罪孽；你们的母亲被离弃是因你们的过犯。

那和她同寝的人就要把五百七十克银子给那少女的父亲，那少女要归作他的妻子，因为他玷污了她；他终生不能休她。

他们说：“摩西准许‘人写了休书就可以休妻’。”耶稣说：“因为你们的心硬，摩西才写这条例给你们。但从起初创造的时候，神是‘造男造女’。‘因此人要离开父母，与妻子连合，二人成为一体了。’这样，他们不再是两个人，而是一体的了。所以神所配合的，人不可分开。”回到屋子里，门徒再提起这件事来问他。他对他们说：“谁休妻另娶，谁就是犯奸淫，得罪了妻子。如果妻子弃夫另嫁，也是犯了奸淫。”

如果后夫又恨她，也给她写休书，交在她手里，叫她离开他的家；或者娶她为妻的后夫死了；

如果离开了，就不可再嫁，不然，就要跟丈夫复合。丈夫也不可离弃妻子。我要对其余的人说（是我说的，不是主说的），倘若某弟兄有不信的妻子，而她也情愿和他住在一起，他就不要离弃她。

耶和华以色列的神说：“我恨恶休妻和以强暴待妻子。”万军之耶和华说：“所以要谨守你们的灵性，不可行诡诈的事。”

她丈夫约瑟是个义人，不愿张扬使她受辱，就打算暗中与她解除婚约。

“又有这样的吩咐：‘人若休妻，就应当给她休书。’可是我告诉你们，凡休妻的，如果不是因她不贞，就是促使她犯奸淫；无论谁娶了被休的妇人，也就是犯奸淫了。

凡休妻另娶的，就犯了奸淫；娶被丈夫所休的，也是犯了奸淫。

“如果人有两个妻子，一个是他喜爱的，一个是他不喜爱的，两个都给他生了儿子；但长子是他不喜爱的妻子生的；
