Make sure you do what you promised to do. With your own mouth you made the promise to the Lord your God. No one forced you to do it.

你嘴里所出的，就是你口中应许甘心所献的，要照你向耶和华你神所许的愿谨守遵行。

你嘴唇所说的，你亲口承诺的，要照你甘心向耶和华—你上帝许的愿谨守遵行。

但如果你们亲口许了愿，一定要向你们的上帝耶和华信守诺言。

Whatever your lips utter you must be sure to do, because you made your vow freely to the Lord your God with your own mouth.

You shall be careful to do what has passed your lips, for you have voluntarily vowed to the Lord your God what you have promised with your mouth.

But once you have voluntarily made a vow, be careful to fulfill your promise to the Lord your God.

Be careful to do whatever comes from your lips, because you have freely vowed what you promised to the LORD your God.

You shall be careful and perform what goes out of your lips, since in fact you have vowed a voluntary offering to the Lord your God, whatever you have promised.

That which has gone from your lips you shall keep and perform, for you voluntarily vowed to the Lord your God what you have promised with your mouth.

That which is gone out of thy lips thou shalt observe and do; according as thou hast vowed unto Jehovah thy God, a freewill- offering, which thou hast promised with thy mouth.

Be careful to do whatever comes from your lips, because you have freely vowed what you promised to the Lord your God.

That which is gone out of thy lips thou shalt keep and perform;[ even] a freewill offering, according as thou hast vowed unto the LORD thy God, which thou hast promised with thy mouth.

Whatever you vow, you must be careful to do what you have promised, such as what you have vowed to the LORD your God as a freewill offering.

You shall observe and do that which has gone out of your lips. Whatever you have vowed to Yahweh your God as a free will offering, which you have promised with your mouth, you must do.

A person is trapped if they make a hasty promise to God and only later thinks about what they said.

When you make a promise to God, don’t wait too long to carry it out. He isn’t pleased with foolish people. So do what you have promised.It is not good to make a promise and not keep it. It is better to make no promise at all.

When Jephthah saw her, he was so upset that he tore his clothes. He cried out,“ Oh no, my daughter! You have filled me with trouble and sorrow. I’ve made a promise to the Lord. And I can’t break it.”

Don’t give in to them. More than 40 of them are waiting in hiding to attack him. They have promised that they will not eat or drink anything until they have killed him. They are ready now. All they need is for you to bring Paul to the Sanhedrin.”

Then the daughter of Herodias came in and danced. She pleased Herod and his dinner guests. The king said to the girl,“ Ask me for anything you want. I’ll give it to you.”And he gave her his promise. He said to her,“ Anything you ask for I will give you. I’ll give you up to half my kingdom.”

She made a promise to him. She said,“ Lord, you rule over all. Please see how I’m suffering! Show concern for me! Don’t forget about me! Please give me a son! If you do, I’ll give him back to the Lord. Then he will serve the Lord all the days of his life. He’ll never use a razor on his head. He’ll never cut his hair.”

In front of all the Lord’ s people, I will do what I promised him.

The next morning some Jews gathered secretly to make plans against Paul. They made a promise to themselves. They promised that they would not eat or drink anything until they killed him.

The Israelites became very hungry that day. That’s because Saul had forced the army to make a promise. He had said,“ None of you must eat any food before evening comes. You must not eat until I’ve paid my enemies back for what they did. If you do, may you be under a curse!” So none of the troops ate any food at all.

We’ll burn incense to her. We’ll pour out drink offerings to her.” ’“ Go ahead then. Do what you said you would! Keep your promises!But listen to the Lord’ s message. Listen, all you Jews living in Egypt.‘ I make a promise by my own great name,’ says the Lord.‘ Here is what I promise.“ No one from Judah who lives anywhere in Egypt will ever again pray in my name. None of them will ever make this promise. They will never say,‘ You can be sure that the Lord and King is alive.’ ”I am watching over them to do them harm and not good. The Jews in Egypt will die of war and hunger until all of them are destroyed.

I will come to your temple with burnt offerings. I will keep my promises to you.I made them with my lips. My mouth spoke them when I was in trouble.

Suppose a man makes a special promise to the Lord. Or suppose he gives his word to do something. Then he must keep his promise. He must do everything he said he would do.
