Let them live among you wherever they like and in whatever town they choose. Do not oppress them.

Let them live among you anywhere they want to. Let them live in any town they choose. Don’t treat them badly.

He shall dwell with you, in your midst, in the place that he shall choose within one of your towns, wherever it suits him. You shall not wrong him.

「不可欺壓在你們中間寄居的人，因為你們在埃及也做過寄居的人。

不可欺凌在你們中間寄居的人，因為你們也曾經在埃及寄居，知道身在異鄉的滋味。

他們對猶大人說：「給我們出個主意，伸張正義吧！請讓你們的影子在正午如黑夜，遮蓋逃難的人，不要出賣逃亡者。讓我們這些逃難的摩押人留在你們那裡，好躲避毀滅者。」欺壓和毀滅之事終必停止，入侵者終必從地上消失。

你們反倒侮辱窮人。其實欺壓你們、抓你們上法庭的不是那些富人嗎？

只好投靠一個當地人。那人派他到田裡去放豬，他餓到恨不得拿餵豬的豆莢充饑，可是連這些也沒有人給他。最後，他醒悟過來，心想，『在我父親家裡，連僱工的口糧都綽綽有餘，我現在卻要在這裡餓死嗎？我要動身回到我父親身邊，對他說，父親，我得罪了天，也得罪了你，今後，我再也不配作你的兒子，請把我當作僱工看待吧。』於是他動身回家。「他父親遠遠地看見他，就動了慈心，跑上前去抱著他連連親吻。小兒子說，『父親，我得罪了天，也得罪了你，今後，我再也不配作你的兒子。』「父親卻對奴僕說，『趕快拿最好的袍子來給他穿上，給他戴上戒指，穿上鞋，把那隻肥牛犢牽來宰了，讓我們一同歡宴慶祝！因我這兒子是死而復活、失而復得的。』於是他們歡宴慶祝。

不可欺壓寡婦、孤兒、寄居者和窮人，不可設陰謀彼此相害。』

不欺壓異鄉人和孤兒寡婦，不在這地方濫殺無辜，不拜其他神明自取毀滅，

萬軍之耶和華說：「我要來到你們當中施行審判，速速作證指控那些行邪術的、通姦的、起假誓的、克扣工人薪水的、欺壓寡婦孤兒的、冤枉異鄉人的，以及不敬畏我的。

不要毀謗，不要爭吵，要謙和、恭敬地對待每一個人。從前我們也愚蠢、悖逆、易受迷惑，受各種私慾和享樂的驅使，心裡充滿了嫉妒和惡念，令人憎惡，也彼此憎恨。
