人若與有夫之婦同寢、為人所見、則以二人、即姦夫淫婦、一併治死、知是、除惡於以色列人中、

If a man is found sleeping with another man’s wife, both the man who slept with her and the woman must die. You must purge the evil from Israel.

Suppose a man is seen sleeping with another man’s wife. Then the man and the woman must both die. Get rid of those evil people.

“ If a man is found lying with the wife of another man, both of them shall die, the man who lay with the woman, and the woman. So you shall purge the evil from Israel.

“ If a man is discovered committing adultery, both he and the woman must die. In this way, you will purge Israel of such evil.

“ If a man is discovered having sexual relations with another man’s wife, both the man who had sex with the woman and the woman must die. You must purge the evil from Israel.

“ If a man is found sleeping with a married woman, then both of them shall die, the man who slept with the woman, and the woman; so you shall eliminate the evil from Israel.

“ If a man is found lying with a woman married to a husband, then both of them shall die— the man that lay with the woman, and the woman; so you shall put away the evil from Israel.

Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral. (niv)

I will sentence you to the punishment of women who commit adultery and who shed blood; I will bring on you the blood vengeance of my wrath and jealous anger. (niv)

May this water that brings a curse enter your body so that your abdomen swells or your womb miscarries.”“‘ Then the woman is to say,“ Amen. So be it.”“‘ The priest is to write these curses on a scroll and then wash them off into the bitter water.He shall make the woman drink the bitter water that brings a curse, and this water that brings a curse and causes bitter suffering will enter her.The priest is to take from her hands the grain offering for jealousy, wave it before the Lord and bring it to the altar.The priest is then to take a handful of the grain offering as a memorial offering and burn it on the altar; after that, he is to have the woman drink the water.If she has made herself impure and been unfaithful to her husband, this will be the result: When she is made to drink the water that brings a curse and causes bitter suffering, it will enter her, her abdomen will swell and her womb will miscarry, and she will become a curse. and said to Jesus,“ Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery.In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?” (niv)

But righteous judges will sentence them to the punishment of women who commit adultery and shed blood, because they are adulterous and blood is on their hands.“ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Bring a mob against them and give them over to terror and plunder.The mob will stone them and cut them down with their swords; they will kill their sons and daughters and burn down their houses.
