If someone has a stubborn and rebellious son who does not obey his father and mother and will not listen to them when they discipline him,

Suppose someone has a very stubborn son. He doesn’t obey his father and mother. And he won’t listen to them when they try to correct him.

“ If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey the voice of his father or the voice of his mother, and, though they discipline him, will not listen to them,

“ Suppose a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey his father or mother, even though they discipline him.

“要孝敬父母，使你在耶和华你的神赐给你的地上得享长寿。

各人要孝敬父母，也要谨守我的安息日；我是耶和华你们的神。

“‘轻慢父母的，必受咒诅。’众民都要说：‘阿们。’

你们作儿女的，要在主里听从父母，因为这是理所当然的。“要孝敬父母，使你得福，在世长寿。”这是第一条带着应许的诫命。

趁着还有指望的时候，要管教你的儿子；不可存心使他死亡。

诸天哪！要听。大地啊！要留心听。因为耶和华说：“我把孩子养育，使他们成长，他们却背叛了我。

愚妄束缚孩童的心，管教的杖可以把愚妄远远驱除。

我儿，要听从你父亲的教训，不可离弃你母亲的训诲。

“我倾覆你们，就像倾覆所多玛和蛾摩拉一样；你们像一根木柴，从火里抽出来；但你们仍不归向我。”这是耶和华的宣告。“因此，以色列啊！我必这样对付你。以色列啊！因我必这样对付你，你应当预备迎见你的神。”

因此你心里要明白，耶和华你的神管教你，好像人管教他的儿子一样。

“我清楚听见以法莲为自己哀叹，说：‘你管教了我，我像一头不驯服的牛犊受管教；求你使我回转，我就得以回转，因为你是耶和华我的神。

偷窃自己父母财物，并说：“这不是罪过”的，这人是与强盗一伙。

在你里面轻视父母的；在你中间有压迫寄居的和欺负孤儿寡妇的。

要管教孩童，不可姑息，你虽然用杖打他，他也不会死；你要用杖打他，就可以救他的灵魂免下阴间。

不用杖责打儿子的，是恨恶他；爱儿子的，必对他勤加管教。

管教你的儿子，他必使你得安息；也必使你的心得喜乐。

我要作他的父亲，他要作我的儿子，他若是犯了罪，我要用人的刑杖、用世人的鞭子纠正他。

你的污秽就是淫荡。我想要洁净你，你却不愿意洁净，所以你的污秽再不能得到洁净，直等到我向你发的烈怒止息。

你们为什么屡次悖逆，还要受责打吗？你们整个头都受了伤，整个心都发昏了。

愚妄人藐视父亲的管教；看重责备的是精明的人。

耶和华啊！你的眼目不是要看诚实的事吗？你击打他们，他们却不觉得伤痛；你摧毁他们，他们仍不肯接受管教。他们板着脸，脸皮比磐石还硬，总不肯回转。

咒骂父母的，必要把那人处死。

有一种人（“有一种人”直译是“有一世代”）咒诅父亲，又不给母亲祝福。

如果祭司的女儿羞辱自己去作妓女，就是羞辱了自己的父亲；她必须用火烧死。

还有，肉身的父亲管教我们，我们尚且敬重他们；何况那万灵的父，我们不是更要顺服他而得生吗？肉身的父亲照着自己的意思管教我们，只有短暂的日子；唯有神管教我们，是为着我们的好处，使我们在他的圣洁上有分。但是一切管教，在当时似乎不觉得快乐，反觉得痛苦；后来却为那些经过这种操练的人，结出平安的果子来，就是义。

嘲笑父亲，藐视年老母亲的，他的眼必被谷中的乌鸦啄出来，给雏鹰所吃。

咒骂父母的，他的灯必在漆黑的幽暗中熄灭。

“打父母的，必要把那人处死。
