近亞捫族、勿擾之、勿與戰、其地我不爾予、蓋我已賜羅得子孫為業、

行近亞捫族、勿擾之、勿與戰爭、其地非汝所得、蓋我以之錫羅得後裔為業。

行近亞捫族、勿以之為敵、勿與戰爭、我不以亞捫族之地賜爾為業、因已賜之羅得子孫為業、○

When you come to the Ammonites, do not harass them or provoke them to war, for I will not give you possession of any land belonging to the Ammonites. I have given it as a possession to the descendants of Lot.”

When you come to the Ammonites, do not attack them. Do not make them angry. If you do, they will go to war against you. I will not give you any of their land as your own. I have given it to the people in the family line of Lot. I have given it to them as their own.”

And when you approach the territory of the people of Ammon, do not harass them or contend with them, for I will not give you any of the land of the people of Ammon as a possession, because I have given it to the sons of Lot for a possession.’

and enter the land of the Ammonites, the descendants of Lot. But do not bother them or start a war with them. I have given the land of Ammon to them as their property, and I will not give you any of their land.’”

When you get close to the Ammonites, don’t show any hostility to them or provoke them, for I will not give you any of the Ammonites’ land as a possession; I have given it as a possession to the descendants of Lot.’”

When you come opposite the sons of Ammon, do not attack them nor provoke them, for I will not give you any of the land of the sons of Ammon as a possession, because I have given it to the sons of Lot as a possession.’

And when you come near the people of Ammon, do not harass them or meddle with them, for I will not give you any of the land of the people of Ammon as a possession, because I have given it to the descendants of Lot as a possession.’”

and when thou comest nigh over against the children of Ammon, vex them not, nor contend with them; for I will not give thee of the land of the children of Ammon for a possession; because I have given it unto the children of Lot for a possession.

耶和华吩咐我说：‘不可扰害摩押人，也不可与他们争战。他们的地，我不赐给你为业，因我已将亚珥赐给罗得的子孙为业。’

这样，罗得的两个女儿都从她父亲怀了孕。大女儿生了儿子，给他起名叫摩押，就是现今摩押人的始祖。小女儿也生了儿子，给他起名叫便亚米，就是现今亚扪人的始祖。

不可与他们争战；他们的地，连脚掌可踏之处，我都不给你们，因我已将西珥山赐给以扫为业。

从前以色列人出埃及地的时候，你不容以色列人侵犯亚扪人、摩押人，和西珥山人，以色列人就离开他们，不灭绝他们。

亚扪人的王回答耶弗他的使者说：“因为以色列人从埃及上来的时候占据我的地，从亚嫩河到雅博河，直到约旦河。现在你要好好地将这地归还吧！”耶弗他又打发使者去见亚扪人的王，对他说：“耶弗他如此说，以色列人并没有占据摩押地和亚扪人的地。以色列人从埃及上来乃是经过旷野到红海，来到加低斯，就打发使者去见以东王，说：‘求你容我从你的地经过。’以东王却不应允。又照样打发使者去见摩押王，他也不允准。以色列人就住在加低斯。他们又经过旷野，绕着以东和摩押地，从摩押地的东边过来，在亚嫩河边安营，并没有入摩押的境内，因为亚嫩河是摩押的边界。以色列人打发使者去见亚摩利王西宏，就是希实本的王，对他说：‘求你容我们从你的地经过，往我们自己的地方去。’西宏却不信服以色列人，不容他们经过他的境界，乃招聚他的众民在雅杂安营，与以色列人争战。耶和华以色列的神将西宏和他的众民都交在以色列人手中，以色列人就击杀他们，得了亚摩利人的全地：从亚嫩河到雅博河，从旷野直到约旦河。耶和华以色列的神在他百姓以色列面前赶出亚摩利人，你竟要得他们的地吗？你的神基抹所赐你的地你不是得为业吗？耶和华我们的神在我们面前所赶出的人，我们就得他的地。难道你比摩押王西拨的儿子巴勒还强吗？他曾与以色列人争竞，或是与他们争战吗？以色列人住希实本和属希实本的乡村，亚罗珥和属亚罗珥的乡村，并沿亚嫩河的一切城邑，已经有三百年了；在这三百年之内，你们为什么没有取回这些地方呢？原来我没有得罪你，你却攻打我，恶待我。愿审判人的耶和华今日在以色列人和亚扪人中间判断是非。”
