爾從以色列人中、選爾兄亞倫、與其子拿答亞比戶以利亞撒以他瑪、使之近於爾前、立之為祭司奉事我、當為爾兄亞倫製聖衣、以顯其尊榮、凡心中明達之人、即我賜其心充於智慧者、爾當命之為亞倫製衣、用以區別亞倫為聖、使為祭司奉事我、所當製之衣、乃胸牌、以弗得、外袍、斗紋之內袍、冠、大帶、當為亞倫與其諸子製聖衣、使其為祭司奉事我、製衣當用金絲與藍色紫色絳色縷、並白細麻、○當以金絲與藍色紫色絳色縷、並撚之白細麻、製以弗得、按精細織法以製之、於以弗得兩旁、製相連之肩帶二、與以弗得相連、以弗得上之帶、與以弗得同一製法、皆用金絲、與藍色紫色絳色縷、並撚之白細麻製之、以寶石二、上鐫以色列諸子之名、六名在此石、六名在彼石、皆序其齒、鐫以色列諸子之名於二寶石上、須按玉工鐫印之法鐫之、嵌於金槽、將二寶石置於以弗得二肩帶、為以色列人為記石、亞倫於兩肩擔其名、在耶和華前以為誌、以金作二槽、又以精金作二鏈、須彷編繩之法、以二鏈置於二槽上、○

我所選者、其杖必萌芽、如此、我使以色列人之怨言、即怨爾之言止息、摩西以此言告以色列人、於是眾牧伯攜杖以給之、每牧伯一杖、循其各支派、共十二杖、亞倫之杖、亦在其杖中、摩西以諸杖置於法幕內、在主前、次日、摩西入法幕、見利未支派亞倫之杖發芽、開杏花結果、摩西取諸杖於主前、使以色列人觀之、既見之遂各取其杖、

謂可拉及其黨曰、明日主必示孰屬主、孰為聖、孰可近於主、主所選者、主必容之就己、

此即立彼與其子孫永為祭司之約、因彼為其天主熱中、為以色列人贖罪、○
