The Levitical priests— indeed, the whole tribe of Levi— are to have no allotment or inheritance with Israel. They shall live on the food offerings presented to the Lord, for that is their inheritance.

The priests, who are Levites, won’t receive any part of the land of Israel. That also applies to the whole tribe of Levi. They will eat the food offerings presented to the Lord. That will be their share.

“ The Levitical priests, all the tribe of Levi, shall have no portion or inheritance with Israel. They shall eat the Lord’s food offerings as their inheritance.

“ Remember that the Levitical priests— that is, the whole of the tribe of Levi— will receive no allotment of land among the other tribes in Israel. Instead, the priests and Levites will eat from the special gifts given to the Lord, for that is their share.

“ The Levitical priests, the whole tribe of Levi, will have no portion or inheritance with Israel. They will eat the LORD’s food offerings; that is their inheritance.

耶和华对亚伦说：“我已经把保留归我的举祭，就是以色列人一切分别为圣的物，都赐给你和你的子孙，作为永远应得的分。以色列人所献一切不经过火、至圣的供物，就是一切素祭、一切赎罪祭和一切赎愆祭，都要作至圣的物，归给你和你的子孙。

你要自己谨慎，你在你那地上的日子，永不可丢弃利未人。

耶和华对亚伦说：“你在以色列人的地不可有产业，在他们中间也不可有分；在以色列人中间，我就是你的分，是你的产业。

难道你们不知道，在圣殿供职的，就吃殿中的供物；侍候祭坛的，就分领坛上的祭物吗？主也曾这样吩咐，叫传福音的人靠福音为生。

只有利未支派，摩西没有把产业给他们；他们的产业就是献给耶和华以色列的神的火祭，正如耶和华对他们所说的。

务要牧养在你们中间的神的羊群，按着神的旨意看顾他们。不是出于勉强，而是出于甘心；不是因为贪财，而是出于热诚；也不是要辖制托付你们的羊群，而是作他们的榜样。到了牧长显现的时候，你们必定得着那永不衰残的荣耀冠冕。

利未人中，从一个月以上被数点的所有男丁，共有二万三千人。在以色列人中没有数点他们，因为在以色列人中，没有把产业分给他们。

可是利未支派，摩西却没有把产业分给他们，因为耶和华以色列的神就是他们的产业，正如耶和华对他们所说的。

利未人在你们中间没有业分，因为耶和华祭司的职分就是他们的产业。迦得支派、流本支派和玛拿西半个支派，已经在约旦河东得了产业，就是耶和华的仆人摩西分给他们的。”
