且云人離父母、與妻聯合、二人成為一體、此豈爾未讀乎、

遂謂眾曰、慎哉、勿貪婪、蓋人之生命、不在家貲豐裕、

當諭此世之富者、心勿驕傲、勿恃無定之財、惟恃永生天主、厚賜我眾百物以享之、

若問彼一人一人指亞伯拉罕見以西結三十三章二十四節不亦曾行此乎、見創世記十六章一節以下何為又蒙神感有餘耶、答曰、彼一人行此何求、乃求得天主所許之苗裔、或作未有一人稍有義氣而行此事有義氣者娶妻何求惟求生子敬畏天主又作天主造人非造一男一女乎非賦之一神乎何為造一男一女乎造一男一女乃欲人生子敬畏天主故當守爾心、故當守爾心或作故當心中自慎下同勿欺幼年所娶之妻、

圖富有者陷誘惑、罹網羅、墮無理有害之慾中即溺人於沈淪及滅亡者也、

耶穌謂門徒曰、我誠告爾、富者入天國、難矣哉、我又告爾、駝穿針孔、較富者入天主國尤易、

播於荊棘中者、指人聽道、而此世之思慮、及貨財之迷惑、蔽其道則不結實、

勿積財於地、彼有蠹蝕朽壞、有盜穿窬而竊、當積財於天、彼無蠹蝕朽壞、亦無盜穿窬而竊、

所羅門王所用之飲器、悉以金製、利巴嫩林宮一切器皿、悉以精金製、當所羅門時、人不以銀為貴、
