此豁免年之例如斯、凡貸金於鄰與兄弟、兄弟或作同國之人下同此年必豁免、毋相逼索債、因是年稱為主之豁免年、

This is how it is to be done: Every creditor shall cancel any loan they have made to a fellow Israelite. They shall not require payment from anyone among their own people, because the Lord’s time for canceling debts has been proclaimed.

Have you made a loan to one of your own people? Then forgive what is owed to you. You can’t require that person to pay you back. The Lord’ s time to forgive what is owed has been announced.

And this is the manner of the release: every creditor shall release what he has lent to his neighbor. He shall not exact it of his neighbor, his brother, because the Lord’s release has been proclaimed.

This is how it must be done. Everyone must cancel the loans they have made to their fellow Israelites. They must not demand payment from their neighbors or relatives, for the Lord’s time of release has arrived.

This is how to cancel debt: Every creditor is to cancel what he has lent his neighbor. He is not to collect anything from his neighbor or brother, because the LORD’s release of debts has been proclaimed.

And this is the regulation for the release of debts: every creditor is to forgive what he has loaned to his neighbor; he shall not require it of his neighbor and his brother, because the Lord’s release has been proclaimed.

And this is the form of the release: Every creditor who has lent anything to his neighbor shall release it; he shall not require it of his neighbor or his brother, because it is called the LORD’s release.

And this is the manner of the release: every creditor shall release that which he hath lent unto his neighbor; he shall not exact it of his neighbor and his brother; because Jehovah’s release hath been proclaimed.

如果你们借东西，只借给那些有指望能从他们收取的人，那有什么可称赞的呢？就是罪人也借给罪人，为要如数收回。不过你们要爱你们的敌人，要善待人；借出去，不指望任何偿还。这样，你们的报偿就大了，而且你们将成为至高者的儿女，因为他以仁慈待那些忘恩负义和邪恶的人。你们要仁慈，正如你们的父是仁慈的。“不要评断人，你们就绝不被评断；不要定人的罪，你们就绝不被定罪；要饶恕人，你们就会被饶恕。你们要给与，就会被赐予，而且用十足的量器，连摇带按、满满当当地倒在你们怀里，因为，你们用什么量器来衡量，也会同样地被衡量。”

他们无力偿还，债主就免了他们两个人的债。那么，你说他们哪一个会更爱那债主呢？”

要知道，那不施怜悯的人，要受毫无怜悯的审判；怜悯胜过审判。

因为那奴仆没有可偿还的，主人就下令把他和他的妻子儿女，以及他所拥有的一切都卖掉来偿还。“那奴仆就俯伏拜他，说：‘请宽容我吧，将来我会把一切偿还给你。’那奴仆的主人动了怜悯之心，把他释放了，并且免了他的债。“但那奴仆出去以后，遇见一个与他同做奴仆的；这人欠他一百个银币。他就抓住这人，掐住这人的喉咙，说：‘把欠我的还给我。’“这人就俯伏在地央求他，说：‘请宽容我吧，我会还给你的。’可是他不肯，反而把这人投进监狱，直到这人能还清所欠的债。那些与他同做奴仆的看见所发生的事，就极其忧伤，去把一切都告诉他们的主人。“于是主人把那奴仆叫来，对他说：‘你这恶奴！因为你求我，我就免了你所有的债。难道你不也该怜悯与你同做奴仆的，像我怜悯了你一样吗？’主人就发怒，把他交给掌刑官，直到他能还清所欠的一切债。如果你们每个人不从心里饶恕自己的弟兄，我的天父也会照样对待你们。”

于是他们问：‘我们禁食，你为什么不看；我们刻苦己心，你为什么不理会呢？’看哪！在禁食的日子里，你们实际上寻求自己所喜悦的，压迫一切为你们做工的人；

“要知道，你们如果饶恕别人的过犯，你们的天父也会饶恕你们。你们如果不饶恕别人，你们的父也不会饶恕你们的过犯。

愿你饶恕我们的亏欠，如同我们也饶恕了亏欠我们的人。
