如是我必除爾邪慝、除爾自伊及之淫行、使爾不復戀慕彼眾、彼眾即亞述人與巴比倫人不復憶伊及、

爾既至主爾天主所賜爾之地、毋傚彼諸民所為可惡之事、爾中不可有使子女經於火者、卜筮占吉凶者、有邪法巫術者、

爾之得入而獲其地、非為爾之善、非為爾之正心、乃為斯民之惡、主爾之天主逐之於爾前、亦為主欲應所誓於爾祖亞伯拉罕以撒雅各之言、

故爾曹無論土著、及寄居爾中之外邦客旅、皆當遵守我之律例法度、毋行此可憎之事、在爾以前居此地之民、行此一切可憎之事、使地染污穢、爾若亦玷污斯地、惟恐地不容不容原文作吐下同爾、如不容在爾以前之居民然、此一切可憎之事、凡行之者必滅絕於民中、必謹守我所命爾當守者、在爾以前之人可憎之惡俗、毋習染自污、我乃主爾之天主、

行惡於主前、昔主在以色列人前所驅逐諸族、行可憎之事、瑪拿西效其尤、

諸祭司長與民眾亦多犯罪、效異邦人可憎之事、在耶路撒冷主之殿、主所別為聖者、彼反污之、

獻數千牡綿羊、獻油多若萬河、豈主所悅乎、我當以初生之嬰孩、贖我愆尤、抑以親生之骨肉、親生之骨肉原文作我身之果贖我罪惡歟、

毋以子女焚獻摩洛、毋瀆爾天主之名、我乃主、

爾告以色列人云、凡以色列人、或寄居以色列中之外邦客旅、以子女獻摩洛者、必治之死、即本處之民、以石擊之、

瑪拿西行惡於主前、昔主於以色列人前逐異族之民、瑪拿西效其所行可憎之事、
