那时你要谨慎，在他们从你面前被除灭之后，你不可受引诱随从他们，也不可求问他们的神明，说：‘这些国家怎样事奉他们的神明，我也要照样做。’

那时就要谨慎，不可在他们除灭之后随从他们的恶俗，陷入网罗，也不可访问他们的神说：‘这些国民怎样侍奉他们的神，我也要照样行。’

那时，你们要谨慎，不可受诱惑去效法他们的习俗，不可打听他们神明的事，说，‘这些民族怎样供奉他们的神明呢？我也要效法。’

那时，你要自己谨慎，不可在他们从你的面前被消灭以后，随从他们的恶俗而陷入网罗，也不可求问他们的神，说：‘这些国的人怎样事奉他们的神，我也要这样行。’

那時你要謹慎、不可在他們被消滅了之後去隨從他、而陷入網羅，也不可尋問他們的神說：「這些列國人怎樣事奉他們的神呢，我也要照樣地行。」

彼既滅於爾前、爾當慎之、勿受誘而從之、勿問其神、自謂斯族若何事神、我亦如之、

則當謹恪、勿陷於坎阱、勿求其上帝、意謂斯民服事其上帝、我亦必如是以行。

彼見滅於爾前之後、慎毋隨其惡俗陷於罪網、毋求其所敬之神、毋自言此諸國之民、如何事其諸神、我亦欲如是行、

and after they have been destroyed before you, be careful not to be ensnared by inquiring about their gods, saying,“ How do these nations serve their gods? We will do the same.”

They will be destroyed to make room for you. But when they are destroyed, be careful. Don’t be trapped. Don’t ask questions about their gods. Don’t say,“ How do these nations serve their gods? We’ll do it in the same way.”

take care that you be not ensnared to follow them, after they have been destroyed before you, and that you do not inquire about their gods, saying,‘ How did these nations serve their gods?— that I also may do the same.’

do not fall into the trap of following their customs and worshiping their gods. Do not inquire about their gods, saying,‘ How do these nations worship their gods? I want to follow their example.’

be careful not to be ensnared by their ways after they have been destroyed before you. Do not inquire about their gods, asking,‘ How did these nations worship their gods? I’ll also do the same.’

take heed to yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not inquire after their gods, saying,‘ How did these nations serve their gods? I also will do likewise.’

你要吞灭耶和华—你的神交给你的各民族，你的眼目不可顾惜他们。你也不可事奉他们的神明，因为这必成为你的圈套。

“你们说：‘我们要像列国和列邦的宗族一样，去事奉木头与石头。’你们所起的心意万不能成就。”

耶和华如此说：“不要效法列国的行为，任凭列国因天象惊惶，你们不要惊惶。

要从你们面前赶出那地所有的居民，摧毁他们一切的石像和铸成的偶像，也要拆毁他们一切的丘坛。

所以我这样说，且在主里郑重地说，你们行事为人，不要再像外邦人存虚妄的心而活。

我领他们到我起誓应许赐给他们的地，他们看见各高冈、各茂密的树，就在那里献祭，献上惹我发怒的供物，也在那里焚烧馨香的祭，献浇酒祭。

他们不照耶和华所吩咐的灭绝外邦人，反倒与列国相交，学习他们的行为，事奉他们的偶像，这就成了自己的圈套。他们把自己的儿女祭祀鬼魔，流无辜人的血，就是自己儿女的血，用他们祭祀迦南的偶像，那地就被血玷污了。

不要效法这个世界，只要心意更新而变化，叫你们察验何为神的善良、纯全、可喜悦的旨意。

因为你们从前随从外邦人的心意，生活在淫荡、情欲、醉酒、荒宴、狂饮和可憎的偶像崇拜中，时候已经够了。在这些事上，他们见你们不与他们同奔放荡无度的路就以为怪，毁谤你们。

我要定你的疆界，从红海直到非利士海，从旷野直到大河。我要把那地的居民交在你手中，你要把他们从你面前赶出去。不可跟他们和他们的神明立约。他们不可住在你的地上，免得他们使你得罪我。你若事奉他们的神明，必成为你的圈套。”

你们不可做你们从前住埃及地的人所做的，也不可做我要领你们去的迦南地的人所做的。你们不可照他们的习俗行。

你们不可与这地的居民立约，要拆毁他们的祭坛。’你们竟没有听从我的话。你们为何这样做呢！因此我说：‘我必不将他们从你们面前赶出。他们必作你们肋下的荆棘，他们的神明必成为你们的圈套。’”

他们厌弃他的律例，和他与他们列祖所立的约，以及他劝戒他们的话，去随从虚无的神明，自己成为虚妄，效法周围的列国，就是耶和华嘱咐他们不可效法的。
