耶和華又說：“如果你留意聽耶和華你神的聲音，行他眼中看為正的事，側耳聽他的誡命，遵守他的一切律例；這樣，我決不把加在埃及人身上的一切疾病加在你們身上，因為我是醫治你的耶和華。”

你要遵守我今日吩咐你的律例和誡命，使你和你的子孫得享福樂，也使你在耶和華你的神賜給你的那地上得享長壽。”

只要你聽從耶和華你的神的話，遵守我今日吩咐你的一切誡命，實行耶和華你的神看為正的事，就必這樣。”

耶和華看為正為好的事，你都要去行，使你可以享福，並且可以進去佔領耶和華向你的列祖起誓應許的那美地，

他的後裔在地上必強盛，正直人的後代必蒙福。

但願你一向都留心聽從我的命令，這樣你的平安就像河水滔滔，你的公義就如海浪滾滾；你的後裔必像海沙那麼多，你腹中的子孫要如沙粒這樣多；他們的名字必不會被剪除，也不會從我面前消滅。

你要謹慎聽從我吩咐你的這一切話，好使你和你的子子孫孫永遠得享福樂，因為你行了耶和華看為好為正的事。

“‘要孝敬父母，照著耶和華你的神吩咐你的，使你可以得享長壽，也使你在耶和華你的神賜給你的地上，得享福樂。

神把智慧、知識和喜樂賜給他所喜悅的人，卻使罪人作收集和積聚的差事，把所得的歸給神所喜悅的人。這也是虛空，也是捕風。

因此，你要對他們說：‘主耶和華這樣說：你們吃帶血的祭肉，舉目仰望你們的偶像，並且流人的血，你們還可以得這地為業嗎？
