Then the Lord will send rain on your land at the right time. He’ll send rain in the fall and in the spring. You will be able to gather your grain. You will also be able to make olive oil and fresh wine.

then I will send rain on your land in its season, both autumn and spring rains, so that you may gather in your grain, new wine and olive oil.

Brothers and sisters, be patient until the Lord comes. See how the farmer waits for the land to produce its rich crop. See how patient the farmer is for the fall and spring rains.

Then I will send you rain at the right time. The ground will produce its crops. The trees will bear their fruit.

The Lord will open up the heavens. That’s where he stores his riches. He will send rain on your land at just the right time. He’ll bless everything you do. You will lend money to many nations. But you won’t have to borrow from any of them.

Wild animals, don’t be afraid. The desert grasslands are turning green again. The trees are bearing their fruit. The vines and fig trees are producing rich crops.People of Zion, be glad. Be joyful because of what the Lord your God has done. He has given you the right amount of rain in the fall. That’s because he is faithful. He has sent you plenty of showers. He has sent fall and spring rains alike, just as he did before.

I will make them and the places surrounding my holy mountain of Zion a blessing. I will send down rain at the right time. There will be showers of blessing.

He sends rain on the earth. He sends water on the countryside.He lifts up people who are lowly in spirit. He lifts up those who are sad. He keeps them safe.

Do any of the worthless gods of the nations bring rain? Do the skies send down showers all by themselves? No. Lord our God, you send the rain. So we put our hope in you. You are the one who does all these things.

He loads the clouds with moisture. He scatters his lightning through them.He directs the clouds to circle above the surface of the whole earth. They do everything he commands them to do.He tells the clouds to punish people. Or he brings them to water his earth and show his love.

You take care of the land and water it. You make it able to grow many crops. You fill your streams with water. You do that to provide the people with grain. That’s what you have decided to do for the land.You water its rows. You smooth out its bumps. You soften it with showers. And you bless its crops.You bring the year to a close with huge crops. You provide more than enough food.The grass grows thick even in the desert. The hills are dressed with gladness.The meadows are covered with flocks and herds. The valleys are dressed with grain. They sing and shout for joy.
