But the land, whither ye go to possess it,[ is] a land of hills and valleys,[ and] drinketh water of the rain of heaven:

你們要過去得為業的那地乃是有山有谷、天上的雨水滋潤之地，

而你們將要佔領的那片土地卻有山有谷，雨水充足，

但你們要過去得為業的地，卻是一個有山有谷的地，有天上雨水滋潤的地，

但你們所要過去取得為業的地乃是有山有谷之地、它吸收水的灌溉是按着天上之雨水而定的。

惟爾所往而得之地不然、乃有陵谷、自受天雨、

爾所往欲得之地、乃有山崗平原、得天雨浸灌之地、

But the land you are crossing the Jordan to take possession of is a land of mountains and valleys that drinks rain from heaven.

But you will soon go across the Jordan River. The land you are going to take over has mountains and valleys in it. It drinks rain from heaven.

But the land that you are going over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water by the rain from heaven,

Rather, the land you will soon take over is a land of hills and valleys with plenty of rain—

But the land you are entering to possess is a land of mountains and valleys, watered by rain from the sky.

But the land into which you are about to cross to possess it, a land of hills and valleys, drinks water from the rain of heaven,

but the land which you cross over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water from the rain of heaven,

but the land, whither ye go over to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh water of the rain of heaven,

But the land you are entering to possess is a land of mountains and valleys, watered by rain from the sky.

Instead, the land you are crossing the Jordan to occupy is one of hills and valleys, a land that drinks in water from the rains,

but the land that you go over to possess is a land of hills and valleys which drinks water from the rain of the sky,

For the LORD thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills;A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey;A land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any[ thing] in it; a land whose stones[ are] iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass.

For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:

They drop[ upon] the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side.The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.

Therefore God give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine:

And I brought you into a plentiful country, to eat the fruit thereof and the goodness thereof; but when ye entered, ye defiled my land, and made mine heritage an abomination.

Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty[ is] a fading flower, which[ are] on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine!

He sendeth the springs into the valleys,[ which] run among the hills.They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst.By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation,[ which] sing among the branches.He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.
