爾當愛爾之上帝耶和華、供其役事、行其禮儀、守其法度、遵其禁令、歷久不輟。

爾當敬愛主爾之天主、恆守所諭爾當守者、遵其律例法度誡命、

Love the Lord your God and keep his requirements, his decrees, his laws and his commands always.

Love the Lord your God. Do what he requires. Always obey his rules, laws and commands.

你要全心、全性、全力愛耶和華你的神。

“以色列啊，現在耶和華你的神向你要的是甚麼呢？只要你敬畏耶和華你的神，行在他的一切道路上，愛他，一心一意事奉耶和華你的神，

七天之內，你們晝夜都住在會幕門口，遵守耶和華的吩咐，免得你們死亡，因為耶和華是這樣吩咐我。”

把我們從仇敵手中救拔出來，叫我們可以坦然無懼，用聖潔公義，在他面前一生一世敬拜他。

“萬軍之耶和華這樣說：‘你若遵行我的道，謹守我的吩咐，你就必治理我的家，看守我的院子，我必賜你特權，可以在這些侍立在我面前的使者中間自由出入。

“以色列人哪，現在你們要聽我向來教訓你們遵行的律例和典章，使你們可以活著，可以進去得著耶和華你們列祖的神賜給你們的地作產業。

看哪，我照著耶和華我的神吩咐我的，把律例和典章教訓你們，好讓你們在將要進去得為業的地上遵行。

因此我今日吩咐你要愛耶和華你的神，行他的道路，謹守他的誡命、律例、典章，使你可以存活，人數增多，耶和華你的神就必在你要進去得為業的地上賜福給你。但是，如果你的心偏離了，不肯聽從，卻被人勾引，去敬拜和事奉別的神；我今日鄭重地告訴你們，你們必要滅亡；在你過約旦河，進去得為業的地上，你的年日必不長久。我今日呼天喚地向你們作證，我把生與死，福與禍，都擺在你面前了；所以你要選擇生命，好讓你和你的後裔都可以活著，愛耶和華你的神，聽從他的話，緊靠他，因為那就是你的生命，你的長壽；這樣，你才能在耶和華向你的列祖亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓應許要賜給他們的地上居住。”

我愛耶和華，因為他聽了我的聲音、我的懇求。

“以下是耶和華你們的神吩咐我教導你們的誡命、律例、典章，使你們在將要過去佔領為業的地上遵行，

你要遵守我今日吩咐你的律例和誡命，使你和你的子孫得享福樂，也使你在耶和華你的神賜給你的那地上得享長壽。”

為要使他們謹守他的律例，遵守他的律法。你們要讚美耶和華。
