He is the one you praise; he is your God, who performed for you those great and awesome wonders you saw with your own eyes.

You made a name for Yourself, as is the case today.You brought Your people Israel out of Egypt with signs and wonders, with a strong hand and an outstretched arm, and with great terror.

The sun will no longer be your light by day, and the brightness of the moon will not shine on you; but the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your splendor.

Above all, fear the Lord and worship Him faithfully with all your heart; consider the great things He has done for you.

When You did awesome works that we did not expect, You came down, and the mountains quaked at Your presence.

The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because God’s glory illuminates it, and its lamp is the Lamb.
