因為永恆主你們的上帝、他是萬神之神、萬主之主、至大、至有能力至可畏懼的上帝；他不徇情面，也不受賄賂。

For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality and accepts no bribes.

因為上帝並不以貌取人。

至於從那些所謂有名望的人呢（無論他們從前是甚麼樣的人，於我都沒有差別。上帝不以外貌取人）——那些有名望的人於我並沒有增益甚麼。

彼得就開口說：『我真地領會上帝不以貌取人；

做主人的、你們對僕人也要同樣地行。要停止恐嚇；因為知道有主在天上，不但是他們的主，也是你們的主；他不以貌取人。

他們必對羔羊爭戰，羔羊必勝過他們，因為羔羊是萬主之主、萬王之王；那些同羔羊在一起、蒙召被揀選而忠信的、也必得勝。』

王應時對但以理說：『千真萬確啊、你們的上帝真是萬神之神、萬主之主，機密事之啓示者，因為你能夠將這機密事啓示出來。』

『大能者上帝永恆主！大能者上帝永恆主！他是知道的；願以色列人也知道；如果有背叛的意思，如果是對永恆主不忠實，（但願你今日不拯救我們）

他有名字在他衣裳和大腿上寫着說：「萬王之王，萬主之主」。

你不要因他們而驚恐，因為永恆主你的上帝、大而可畏懼的上帝、是在你中間。

你們既是呼求一位不以貌取人、乃按各人的行為施審判的父，就該存着敬畏的心、來度你們僑居世間的時光。

『現在呢、我們的上帝啊，至大、至有能力、至可畏懼、守約守堅愛的上帝啊，我們、我們的王和首領、我們的祭司和神言人、我們的列祖和你的眾民、從亞述列王的日子直到今日所遭遇的一切艱難困苦、求你不要看為小事。

他們稱讚他的名、大而可畏懼；惟獨他至聖。

那行不義的、必按着他所行的不義去得回報應：主不以貌取人。

他們來對他說：『先生，我們曉得你很真誠；甚麼人你都不在乎；因為你不看人的外貌，你只憑真誠來教授上帝的道路。納丁稅給該撒可以不可以？

『那王必任意而行，自高自大超過所有的神，又說了荒謬怪誕的話來攻擊萬神之神上帝。他倒會亨通順利，直到上帝的震怒發盡；因為鐵定的事必定作成。

然而永恆主與我同在，他是大能大力者、威武可畏者；因此逼迫我的都必絆跌，不能得勝。他們必極其慚愧，蒙受永不能忘的羞慚，因為他們行事不聰明。

他不徇王子的情面，也不重富人而輕貧寒；因為二者都是他手所造的。

現在你們對永恆主要有畏懼的心；你們要謹慎辦事；因為永恆主我們的上帝無不公道；他不以貌取人，也不受賄賂。』

因為永恆主至大，當受極大的頌讚；惟獨他可畏懼，超乎萬神之上；別族之民的神都是虛無之物；惟獨永恆主造了諸天。

你們要稱謝萬神之神，因為他堅固的愛永遠長存。要稱謝萬主之主，因為他堅固的愛永遠長存。

金光出於北方；上帝有可畏懼的尊威。全能者、我們查不出：他能力至大，他有公平，又滿有正義；不苦害人。

我看了以後，就起來、對顯貴的人、對官長和其餘的人民說：『不要怕他們；要記得主是大而可畏懼，他要為你們的弟兄、兒女、妻子、家業而爭戰。』

說：『哦，永恆主天上的上帝、至有權勢、至大、至可畏懼的啊，那向愛你守你誡命的人守約施堅愛的啊。
