In this vision I saw myself in Susa the citadel, which is located in the province of Elam. In the vision I saw myself at the Ulai Canal.

我见了异象的时候，我以为在以拦省书珊城中；我见异象又如在乌莱河边。

我在异象中观看，见自己在以拦省书珊的城堡中；我在异象中又见自己在乌莱河边。

我見了異象的時候，我以為在以攔省書珊城中；我見異象又如在烏萊河邊。

我在異象中觀看，見自己在以攔省書珊的城堡中；我在異象中又見自己在烏萊河邊。

我在異象中觀看，見自己在以攔省書珊的城堡中；我在異象中又見自己在烏萊河邊。

我在異象中看見自己在以攔省的書珊城，又看見自己站在烏萊河畔。

我在異象中觀看着；見了異象的時候，好像是在書珊宮堡，在以攔省。我在異象中觀看着，又好像在烏萊河邊。

我在異象中觀看，看見自己在以攔省的蘇薩城堡中；我在異象中繼續觀看，又看見自己在烏萊運河邊。

其時、我恍若在以攔州、書珊宮、我於異象中、在烏萊河濱、

恍惚間若在以攔國書山殿、烏來河濱、

我見異象之時、以為我在以攔州、書珊城、我於異象中彷彿在烏萊河濱、

In my vision I saw myself in the citadel of Susa in the province of Elam; in the vision I was beside the Ulai Canal.

In my vision I saw myself in the city of Susa. It has high walls around it. It is in the land of Elam. In the vision I was beside the Ulai Canal.

And I saw in the vision; and when I saw, I was in Susa the citadel, which is in the province of Elam. And I saw in the vision, and I was at the Ulai canal.

In this vision I was at the fortress of Susa, in the province of Elam, standing beside the Ulai River.

I saw the vision, and as I watched, I was in the fortress city of Susa, in the province of Elam. I saw in the vision that I was beside the Ulai Canal.

I looked in the vision, and while I was looking, I was in the citadel of Susa, which is in the province of Elam; and I looked in the vision, and I myself was beside the Ulai Canal.

I saw in the vision, and it so happened while I was looking, that I was in Shushan, the citadel, which is in the province of Elam; and I saw in the vision that I was by the River Ulai.

And I saw in the vision; now it was so, that when I saw, I was in Shushan the palace, which is in the province of Elam; and I saw in the vision, and I was by the river Ulai.

I saw the vision, and as I watched, I was in the fortress city of Susa, in the province of Elam. I saw in the vision that I was beside the Ulai Canal.

And I saw in a vision; and it came to pass, when I saw, that I[ was] at Shushan[ in] the palace, which[ is] in the province of Elam; and I saw in a vision, and I was by the river of Ulai.

I saw the vision. Now it was so, that when I saw, I was in the citadel of Susa, which is in the province of Elam. I saw in the vision, and I was by the river Ulai.

These are the words of Nehemiah son of Hacaliah: It so happened that in the month of Kislev, in the twentieth year, I was in Susa the citadel.

In those days, as King Ahasuerus sat on his royal throne in Susa the citadel,

all the kings of Zimri; all the kings of Elam; all the kings of Media;

At that time Amraphel king of Shinar, Arioch king of Ellasar, Kedorlaomer king of Elam, and Tidal king of nations

It so happened that when the king’s edict and his law became known many young women were taken to Susa the citadel to be placed under the authority of Hegai. Esther also was taken to the royal palace to be under the authority of Hegai, who was overseeing the women.

The sons of Shem were Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, and Aram.

“ Elam is there with all her hordes around her grave; all of them struck down by the sword. They went down uncircumcised to the lower parts of the earth, those who spread terror in the land of the living. Now they will bear their shame with those who descend to the pit.

Daniel explained:“ I was watching in my vision during the night as the four winds of the sky were stirring up the great sea.

The Jews who were in Susa then assembled on the fourteenth day of the month of Adar, and they killed three hundred men in Susa. But they did not confiscate their property.

I looked up and saw a ram with two horns standing at the canal. Its two horns were both long, but one was longer than the other. The longer one was coming up after the shorter one.

Now Mordecai went out from the king’s presence in purple and white royal attire, with a large golden crown and a purple linen mantle. The city of Susa shouted with joy.

“ As for me, Daniel, my spirit was distressed, and the visions of my mind were alarming me.

On that same day the number of those killed in Susa the citadel was brought to the king’s attention.

Early in the reign of King Zedekiah of Judah, the LORD spoke to the prophet Jeremiah about Elam.The LORD who rules over all said,“ I will kill all the archers of Elam, who are the chief source of her military might.I will cause enemies to blow through Elam from every direction like the winds blowing in from the four quarters of heaven. I will scatter the people of Elam to the four winds. There will not be any nation where the refugees of Elam will not go.I will make the people of Elam terrified of their enemies, who are seeking to kill them. I will vent my fierce anger and bring disaster upon them,” says the LORD.“ I will send armies chasing after them until I have completely destroyed them.I will establish my sovereignty over Elam. I will destroy their king and their leaders,” says the LORD.“ Yet in days to come I will reverse Elam’s ill fortune.” says the LORD.

The LORD said,“ Hear now my words: If there is a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known to him in a vision; I will speak with him in a dream.

I have received a distressing message:“ The deceiver deceives, the destroyer destroys. Attack, you Elamites! Lay siege, you Medes! I will put an end to all the groaning!”

At that time the sovereign master will again lift his hand to reclaim the remnant of his people from Assyria, Egypt, Pathros, Cush, Elam, Shinar, Hamath, and the seacoasts.

After God spoke long ago in various portions and in various ways to our ancestors through the prophets,

The messengers scurried forth with the king’s order. The edict was issued in Susa the citadel. While the king and Haman sat down to drink, the city of Susa was in an uproar!

Esther replied,“ The oppressor and enemy is this evil Haman!” Then Haman became terrified in the presence of the king and queen.
