While I, Daniel, was watching the vision and trying to understand it, there before me stood one who looked like a man.

I was having the vision. And I was trying to understand it. Then I saw someone who looked like a man.

When I, Daniel, had seen the vision, I sought to understand it. And behold, there stood before me one having the appearance of a man.

復有狀若人者撫我、使我力增、

昔先知預言爾所將得之恩、探索此救道而研究之、基督之神、在先知心中、預言基督受苦後得榮、彼考察神所指者、為何期何時、

我聞言、不明其旨、曰、我主歟、此事之終、究將若何、

其人之言、至此乃竟、我但以理中心大惶恐、面容變色、藏言於心、伯沙撒王三年、我但以理於前之異象後、再見異象、

曰、不然、我來欲為主軍之大帥、或作我乃主軍之大帥適至約書亞面伏於地、拜曰、我主以何命命僕、

爾見先知但以理所言、殘賊可惡之物、立不當立之地、讀者當思之、時、在猶太者、當逃於山、

因有一嬰孩為我儕而生、有一子賜於我儕、國政為其所肩荷、其名稱為奇妙、策士、全能之神、永在之父、平康之君、

是時人子之兆、將現於天、地上諸族將哀哭、且見人子以大權大榮乘天雲而來、

使其視而不明、聞而不悟、免其悔改、而罪得赦、

在此有智慧、智者可計核獸名之數、乃人名之數、其數六百六十六、

舉目觀望、見一人衣白細麻衣、腰束烏法精金帶、

我於夜間異象中觀時、見有似人子者、乘天雲而來、詣於亙古常在者之所、乃引至其前、

耶穌散眾入室、門徒就之曰、請以田稗之喻、為我解之、

其首上之穹蒼上、有形若寶座、色若藍寶石、寶座上有形狀似人、我見自腰以上、色若磨光之金、四周狀如火、我見自腰以下、狀亦如火、光耀四周、四周光輝之狀、若降雨時、雲中之虹、此乃主榮光之形狀、我一見之、面伏於地、我聞有言者之聲、

我就一侍立者、以問所見者之真、彼遂告我、以諸事向我解之曰、其四巨獸即四國、國原文作王將興於世、惟至上者之聖民、將護其國、恆享靡暨、永世無盡、我但以理欲知第四獸之實、何為異於他獸、甚可畏懼、鐵齒銅爪、吞食嚼碎一切、以足踐其所餘、

爾觀先知但以理所言、殘賊可惡之物、立於聖地、讀者當悟之、
