Then I heard a holy one speaking; and another holy one said to that certain one who was speaking,“ How long will the vision be, concerning the daily sacrifices and the transgression of desolation, the giving of both the sanctuary and the host to be trampled under foot?”

我听见有一位圣者说话，又有一位圣者问那说话的圣者说：“这除掉常献的燔祭和施行毁坏的罪过，将圣所与军旅践踏的异象，要到几时才应验呢？”

我听见有一位圣者说话，又有一位圣者向那说话的圣者说：“这经常献的祭、带来荒凉的罪过、圣所与军队被践踏的异象，要持续到几时呢？”

我听见有一位圣者说话，又有一位圣者向那说话的圣者说：“这经常献的祭、带来荒凉的罪过、圣所与军队被践踏的异象，要持续到几时呢？”

接着，我听见一位圣者在说话，另一位圣者问他：“异象中出现的有关日常所献的祭，毁灭性的反叛和践踏圣所及天军的事要持续多久呢？”

我听见一位圣者在说话，又有一位圣者问他：“这个关于除掉常献的祭，和引致毁坏的罪过，以及践踏圣所和圣民（“圣民”和8:10~11的“天象”原文是同一个字）的异象，要到几时呢？”

然后我听见一位圣者在说话，又有一位圣者问那说话的：“这异象，就是有关常献的祭、带来荒凉的罪过、圣所和天军被践踏之事，要到什么时候呢？”

我聽見有一位聖者說話，又有一位聖者問那說話的聖者說：「這除掉常獻的燔祭和施行毀壞的罪過，將聖所與軍旅踐踏的異象，要到幾時才應驗呢？」

我聽見有一位聖者說話，又有一位聖者向那說話的聖者說：「這經常獻的祭、帶來荒涼的罪過、聖所與軍隊被踐踏的異象，要持續到幾時呢？」

我聽見有一位聖者說話，又有一位聖者向那說話的聖者說：「這經常獻的祭、帶來荒涼的罪過、聖所與軍隊被踐踏的異象，要持續到幾時呢？」

接著，我聽見一位聖者在說話，另一位聖者問他：「異象中出現的有關日常所獻的祭，毀滅性的反叛和踐踏聖所及天軍的事要持續多久呢？」

我聽見一位聖者在說話，又有一位聖者問他：“這個關於除掉常獻的祭，和引致毀壞的罪過，以及踐踏聖所和聖民（“聖民”和8:10~11的“天象”原文是同一個字）的異象，要到幾時呢？”

我聽見有一位聖者在說話；又有一位聖者問那說話的聖者，說：『關於以下這些事的異象要延到幾時呢？關於這不斷獻的燔祭之被除掉和那使地荒涼的罪過行為、以及將聖所和拜神儀節任意踐踏的事；要延到幾時呢？

然後我聽見一位聖者在說話，又有一位聖者問那說話的：「這異象，就是有關常獻的祭、帶來荒涼的罪過、聖所和天軍被踐踏之事，要到什麼時候呢？」

我聞一聖者宣言、又有一聖者詢之曰、異象所示、論去日獻之祭、與行毀滅之罪、且付聖所與軍旅、而受足踐、其事延至何時、

我聞聖使相語曰、民犯罪戾、都城遭毀、日獻之祭品、悉已棄捐、聖所祭司、俱遭蹂躪、所見之異象、將應於何時、

我聞一聖者聖者或作聖天使下同言、又有一聖者、問彼言之聖者曰、異象顯示日獻之祭必除、民之罪愆、使毀滅行於國、民之罪愆使毀滅行於國或作施行毀滅者犯大罪愆使聖所與軍旅被蹂躪、其事將至何時、其事將至何時或作此異象應於何時

Then I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to him,“ How long will it take for the vision to be fulfilled— the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, the rebellion that causes desolation, the surrender of the sanctuary and the trampling underfoot of the Lord’s people?”

Then I heard a holy angel speaking. Another holy angel spoke to him. He asked,“ How long will it take for the vision to come true? When will the daily sacrifices be stopped? When will those who refuse to obey God be destroyed? When will the temple be handed over to an enemy? And when will some of the Lord’ s people be stomped on?”

Then I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to the one who spoke,“ For how long is the vision concerning the regular burnt offering, the transgression that makes desolate, and the giving over of the sanctuary and host to be trampled underfoot?”

Then I heard two holy ones talking to each other. One of them asked,“ How long will the events of this vision last? How long will the rebellion that causes desecration stop the daily sacrifices? How long will the Temple and heaven’s army be trampled on?”

Then I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to the speaker,“ How long will the events of this vision last— the regular sacrifice, the rebellion that makes desolate, and the giving over of the sanctuary and of the army to be trampled?”

Then I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to that particular one who was speaking,“ How long will the vision about the regular sacrifice apply, while the offense causes horror, so as to allow both the sanctuary and the army to be trampled?”

Then I heard a holy one speaking; and another holy one said unto that certain one who spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the continual burnt- offering, and the transgression that maketh desolate, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?

Then I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to the speaker,“ How long will the events of this vision last— the daily sacrifice, the rebellion that makes desolate, and the giving over of the sanctuary and of the host to be trampled?”

Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain[ saint] which spake, How long[ shall be] the vision[ concerning] the daily[ sacrifice], and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?

Then I heard a holy one speaking. Another holy one said to the one who was speaking,“ To what period of time does the vision pertain– this vision concerning the daily sacrifice and the destructive act of rebellion and the giving over of both the sanctuary and army to be trampled?”

Then I heard a holy one speaking; and another holy one said to that certain one who spoke,“ How long will the vision about the continual burnt offering, and the disobedience that makes desolate, to give both the sanctuary and the army to be trodden under foot be?”

But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot for forty-two months.

And they cried with a loud voice, saying,“ How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”

And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate.”

“ I saw in the visions of my head while on my bed, and there was a watcher, a holy one, coming down from heaven.

Your holy people have possessed it but a little while; Our adversaries have trodden down Your sanctuary.

To them it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to us they were ministering the things which now have been reported to you through those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven— things which angels desire to look into.

Then I said,“ Lord, how long?” And He answered:“ Until the cities are laid waste and without inhabitant, The houses are without a man, The land is utterly desolate,

How long, Lord? Will You be angry forever? Will Your jealousy burn like fire?

And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation.

Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?

“ But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near.

And there was the angel who talked with me, going out; and another angel was coming out to meet him,who said to him,“ Run, speak to this young man, saying:‘ Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls, because of the multitude of men and livestock in it.

For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

And the Angel of the Lord said to him,“ Why do you ask My name, seeing it is wonderful?”

Then I said,“ My Lord, what are these?” So the angel who talked with me said to me,“ I will show you what they are.”And the man who stood among the myrtle trees answered and said,“ These are the ones whom the Lord has sent to walk to and fro throughout the earth.”So they answered the Angel of the Lord, who stood among the myrtle trees, and said,“ We have walked to and fro throughout the earth, and behold, all the earth is resting quietly.”Then the Angel of the Lord answered and said,“ O Lord of hosts, how long will You not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which You were angry these seventy years?”

No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

“ Therefore when you see the‘ abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place”( whoever reads, let him understand),

Then you shall flee through My mountain valley, For the mountain valley shall reach to Azal. Yes, you shall flee As you fled from the earthquake In the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Thus the Lord my God will come, And all the saints with You.

He even exalted himself as high as the Prince of the host; and by him the daily sacrifices were taken away, and the place of His sanctuary was cast down.Because of transgression, an army was given over to the horn to oppose the daily sacrifices; and he cast truth down to the ground. He did all this and prospered.

Then I, Daniel, looked; and there stood two others, one on this riverbank and the other on that riverbank.And one said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river,“ How long shall the fulfillment of these wonders be?”

And I said to the angel who talked with me,“ What are these?” So he answered me,“ These are the horns that have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.”

And he said:“ The Lord came from Sinai, And dawned on them from Seir; He shone forth from Mount Paran, And He came with ten thousands of saints; From His right hand Came a fiery law for them.

“ Thus he said:‘ The fourth beast shall be A fourth kingdom on earth, Which shall be different from all other kingdoms, And shall devour the whole earth, Trample it and break it in pieces.

“ So when you see the‘ abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not”( let the reader understand),“ then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying,“ Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints,

All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.

“ And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days.

I came near to one of those who stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me and made known to me the interpretation of these things:

so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.

All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.”

“ And inasmuch as the king saw a watcher, a holy one, coming down from heaven and saying,‘ Chop down the tree and destroy it, but leave its stump and roots in the earth, bound with a band of iron and bronze in the tender grass of the field; let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let him graze with the beasts of the field, till seven times pass over him’;

We do not see our signs; There is no longer any prophet; Nor is there any among us who knows how long.
