“ As for me, Daniel, my spirit was grieved within my body, and the visions of my head troubled me.

「我但以理心中不安，腦中出現的異象令我恐懼，

我但以理呢、我的靈在它的鞘子裏愁苦；我腦中所見的異象使我驚惶。

「至於我但以理，我的靈在我裡面憂傷，我腦海中的異象使我惶恐。

我但以理心憂於中、所見之異象、令我煩擾、

我但以理以所見者、中心鬱陶、戚戚然不勝懷憂、

我但以理中心駭異、所見之異象、使我惶恐、

“ I, Daniel, was troubled in spirit, and the visions that passed through my mind disturbed me.

“ My spirit was troubled. The visions that passed through my mind upset me.

“ As for me, Daniel, my spirit within me was anxious, and the visions of my head alarmed me.

I, Daniel, was troubled by all I had seen, and my visions terrified me.

“ As for me, Daniel, my spirit was deeply distressed within me, and the visions in my mind terrified me.

“ As for me, Daniel, my spirit was distressed within me, and the visions in my mind kept alarming me.

“ I, Daniel, was grieved in my spirit within my body, and the visions of my head troubled me.

As for me, Daniel, my spirit was grieved in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me.

“ As for me, Daniel, my spirit was deeply distressed within me, and the visions in my mind terrified me.

I Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the midst of[ my] body, and the visions of my head troubled me.

“ As for me, Daniel, my spirit was distressed, and the visions of my mind were alarming me.

“ Here is the end of the matter. As for me, Daniel, my thoughts much troubled me, and my face was changed in me; but I kept the matter in my heart.”

I heard, and my body trembled. My lips quivered at the voice. Rottenness enters into my bones, and I tremble in my place, because I must wait quietly for the day of trouble, for the coming up of the people who invade us.

When he came near, he saw the city and wept over it,saying,“ If you, even you, had known today the things which belong to your peace! But now, they are hidden from your eyes.For the days will come on you, when your enemies will throw up a barricade against you, surround you, hem you in on every side,and will dash you and your children within you to the ground. They will not leave in you one stone on another, because you didn’t know the time of your visitation.”

As for me, I have not hurried from being a shepherd after you. I haven’t desired the woeful day. You know. That which came out of my lips was before your face.

In the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar, Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams; and his spirit was troubled, and his sleep went from him.

The king said to them,“ I have dreamed a dream, and my spirit is troubled to know the dream.”

I saw a dream which made me afraid; and the thoughts on my bed and the visions of my head troubled me.

knowing that the putting off of my tent comes swiftly, even as our Lord Jesus Christ made clear to me.

I, Daniel, fainted, and was sick for some days. Then I rose up, and did the king’s business. I wondered at the vision, but no one understood it.

In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head on his bed. Then he wrote the dream and told the sum of the matters.

He asked Pharaoh’s officers who were with him in custody in his master’s house, saying,“ Why do you look so sad today?”They said to him,“ We have dreamed a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it.” Joseph said to them,“ Don’t interpretations belong to God? Please tell it to me.”

that I have great sorrow and unceasing pain in my heart.For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brothers’ sake, my relatives according to the flesh

In the morning, his spirit was troubled, and he sent and called for all of Egypt’s magicians and wise men. Pharaoh told them his dreams, but there was no one who could interpret them to Pharaoh.

I didn’t sit in the assembly of those who make merry and rejoice. I sat alone because of your hand, for you have filled me with indignation.Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable, which refuses to be healed? Will you indeed be to me as a deceitful brook, like waters that fail?

Then Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, was stricken mute for a while, and his thoughts troubled him. The king answered,“ Belteshazzar, don’t let the dream, or the interpretation, trouble you.” Belteshazzar answered,“ My lord, may the dream be for those who hate you, and its interpretation to your adversaries.

I went to the angel, telling him to give me the little book. He said to me,“ Take it, and eat it. It will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.”I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it. It was as sweet as honey in my mouth. When I had eaten it, my stomach was made bitter.They told me,“ You must prophesy again over many peoples, nations, languages, and kings.”
