“ As for me, Daniel, my spirit within me was anxious, and the visions of my head alarmed me.

我但以理以所見者、中心鬱陶、戚戚然不勝懷憂、

我但以理中心駭異、所見之異象、使我惶恐、

“ I, Daniel, was troubled in spirit, and the visions that passed through my mind disturbed me.

“ My spirit was troubled. The visions that passed through my mind upset me.

I, Daniel, was troubled by all I had seen, and my visions terrified me.

“ As for me, Daniel, my spirit was deeply distressed within me, and the visions in my mind terrified me.

“ As for me, Daniel, my spirit was distressed within me, and the visions in my mind kept alarming me.

“ I, Daniel, was grieved in my spirit within my body, and the visions of my head troubled me.

As for me, Daniel, my spirit was grieved in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me.

“ As for me, Daniel, my spirit was deeply distressed within me, and the visions in my mind terrified me.

I Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the midst of[ my] body, and the visions of my head troubled me.

“ As for me, Daniel, my spirit was distressed, and the visions of my mind were alarming me.

“ As for me, Daniel, my spirit was grieved within my body, and the visions of my head troubled me.

“ Here is the end of the matter. As for me, Daniel, my thoughts greatly alarmed me, and my color changed, but I kept the matter in my heart.”

I hear, and my body trembles; my lips quiver at the sound; rottenness enters into my bones; my legs tremble beneath me. Yet I will quietly wait for the day of trouble to come upon people who invade us.

And when he drew near and saw the city, he wept over it,saying,“ Would that you, even you, had known on this day the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.For the days will come upon you, when your enemies will set up a barricade around you and surround you and hem you in on every sideand tear you down to the ground, you and your children within you. And they will not leave one stone upon another in you, because you did not know the time of your visitation.”

I have not run away from being your shepherd, nor have I desired the day of sickness. You know what came out of my lips; it was before your face.

In the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar, Nebuchadnezzar had dreams; his spirit was troubled, and his sleep left him.

And the king said to them,“ I had a dream, and my spirit is troubled to know the dream.”

I saw a dream that made me afraid. As I lay in bed the fancies and the visions of my head alarmed me.

since I know that the putting off of my body will be soon, as our Lord Jesus Christ made clear to me.

And I, Daniel, was overcome and lay sick for some days. Then I rose and went about the king’s business, but I was appalled by the vision and did not understand it.

In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon, Daniel saw a dream and visions of his head as he lay in his bed. Then he wrote down the dream and told the sum of the matter.

So he asked Pharaoh’s officers who were with him in custody in his master’s house,“ Why are your faces downcast today?”They said to him,“ We have had dreams, and there is no one to interpret them.” And Joseph said to them,“ Do not interpretations belong to God? Please tell them to me.”

that I have great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart.For I could wish that I myself were accursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my brothers, my kinsmen according to the flesh.

So in the morning his spirit was troubled, and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt and all its wise men. Pharaoh told them his dreams, but there was none who could interpret them to Pharaoh.

I did not sit in the company of revelers, nor did I rejoice; I sat alone, because your hand was upon me, for you had filled me with indignation.Why is my pain unceasing, my wound incurable, refusing to be healed? Will you be to me like a deceitful brook, like waters that fail?

Then Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, was dismayed for a while, and his thoughts alarmed him. The king answered and said,“ Belteshazzar, let not the dream or the interpretation alarm you.” Belteshazzar answered and said,“ My lord, may the dream be for those who hate you and its interpretation for your enemies!

So I went to the angel and told him to give me the little scroll. And he said to me,“ Take and eat it; it will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey.”And I took the little scroll from the hand of the angel and ate it. It was sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it my stomach was made bitter.And I was told,“ You must again prophesy about many peoples and nations and languages and kings.”
