“以后，我要将我的灵浇灌凡有血气的。你们的儿女要说预言；你们的老年人要做异梦，少年人要见异象。

至于我但以理，我的灵在我里面愁烦，我脑中的异象使我惊惶。

神说一次、两次，世人却不理会。人躺在床上沉睡的时候，神就用梦和夜间的异象，开通他们的耳朵，将当受的教训印在他们心上，

他对我说：“将这默示明明地写在版上，使读的人容易读。

所以你要把所看见的，和现在的事，并将来必成的事，都写出来。

尼布甲尼撒在位第二年，他做了梦，心里烦乱，不能睡觉。

耶和华说：“你们且听我的话：你们中间若有先知，我耶和华必在异象中向他显现，在梦中与他说话。

夜间，神在异象中对以色列说：“雅各！雅各！”他说：“我在这里。”

我在夜间的异象中观看，见有一位像人子的，驾着天云而来，被领到亘古常在者面前，

‘神说：在末后的日子，我要将我的灵浇灌凡有血气的。你们的儿女要说预言；你们的少年人要见异象；老年人要做异梦。在那些日子，我要将我的灵浇灌我的仆人和使女，他们就要说预言。

所以，耶利米召了尼利亚的儿子巴录来；巴录就从耶利米口中，将耶和华对耶利米所说的一切话写在书卷上。

只有一位在天上的神能显明奥秘的事。他已将日后必有的事指示尼布甲尼撒王。你的梦和你在床上脑中的异象是这样：王啊，你在床上想到后来的事，那显明奥秘事的主把将来必有的事指示你。

从前所写的圣经都是为教训我们写的，叫我们因圣经所生的忍耐和安慰可以得着盼望。

我自夸固然无益，但我是不得已的。如今我要说到主的显现和启示。

列国都必服侍他和他的儿孙，直到他本国遭报的日期来到。那时，多国和大君王要使他作他们的奴仆。

伯沙撒啊，你是他的儿子，你虽知道这一切，你心仍不自卑，

当三十年四月初五日，以西结在迦巴鲁河边被掳的人中，天就开了，得见神的异象。

其后我在夜间的异象中观看，见第四兽甚是可怕，极其强壮，大有力量，有大铁牙，吞吃嚼碎，所剩下的用脚践踏。这兽与前三兽大不相同，头有十角。

当夜，迦勒底王伯沙撒被杀。

七雷发声之后，我正要写出来，就听见从天上有声音说：“七雷所说的，你要封上，不可写出来。”

这事以后，耶和华在异象中有话对亚伯兰说：“亚伯兰，你不要惧怕！我是你的盾牌，必大大地赏赐你。”

耶和华对我说：“你取一个大牌，拿人所用的笔，写上‘玛黑珥沙拉勒哈施罢斯’。

现今你去，在他们面前将这话刻在版上，写在书上，以便传留后世，直到永永远远。

伯沙撒王在位第三年，有异象现与我但以理，是在先前所见的异象之后。
