那些人就說：「我們要找但以理的把柄，若不從他上帝的律法中下手，就尋不着。」

那些人便说：“我们要找参这但以理的把柄，除非在他神的律法中就寻不着。”

那些人就说：“我们要找但以理的把柄，若不从他上帝的律法中下手，就寻不着。”

那些人就说：“我们要找但以理的把柄，若不从他神的律法中下手，就寻不着。”

最后他们说：“除非我们从但以理上帝的律法下手，否则找不到指控他的把柄。”

那些人就说：“如果我们要控告这但以理，就只有在他神的律法中去找把柄。”

这些人就说：“我们如果不在他的神的法令上找出把柄攻击他，就找不出任何把柄控告这但以理。”

那些人便說：「我們要找參這但以理的把柄，除非在他神的律法中就尋不着。」

那些人就說：「我們要找但以理的把柄，若不從他神的律法中下手，就尋不着。」

最後他們說：「除非我們從但以理上帝的律法下手，否則找不到指控他的把柄。」

那些人就說：“如果我們要控告這但以理，就只有在他神的律法中去找把柄。”

於是這些人便說：『我們必找不到甚麼把柄來控告這但以理，除非在關於他的上帝的禮節規矩上去找、來告他。』

這些人就說：「我們如果不在他的神的法令上找出把柄攻擊他，就找不出任何把柄控告這但以理。」

其人相語曰、除但以理遵其上帝之法而外、我儕不得其隙以訟之、

彼此相告曰、但以理恆遵上帝禮儀、非指此一端、則不得其故以訟之、

此人彼此相語曰、此但以理、我儕不能得故以訟之、莫若尋在彼事其天主之禮儀、

Finally these men said,“ We will never find any basis for charges against this man Daniel unless it has something to do with the law of his God.”

Finally these men said,“ We want to bring charges against this man Daniel. But it’s almost impossible for us to come up with a reason to do it. If we find a reason, it will have to be in connection with the law of his God.”

Then these men said,“ We shall not find any ground for complaint against this Daniel unless we find it in connection with the law of his God.”

So they concluded,“ Our only chance of finding grounds for accusing Daniel will be in connection with the rules of his religion.”

Then these men said,“ We will never find any charge against this Daniel unless we find something against him concerning the law of his God.”

Then these men said,“ We will not find any ground of accusation against this Daniel unless we find it against him regarding the law of his God.”

Then these men said,“ We shall not find any charge against this Daniel unless we find it against him concerning the law of his God.”

Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.

Then these men said,“ We will never find any charge against this Daniel unless we find something against him concerning the law of his God.”

Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find[ it] against him concerning the law of his God.

So these men concluded,“ We won’t find any pretext against this man Daniel unless it is in connection with the law of his God.”

Then these men said,“ We won’t find any occasion against this Daniel, unless we find it against him concerning the law of his God.”

也不能對你證實他們現在所控告我的事。但有一件事我向你承認，就是我正按着他們所稱為異端的道事奉我祖宗的上帝，又信合乎律法和先知書上所記載的一切。我對上帝存着這些人自己也接受的盼望，就是義人和不義的人都要復活。因此，我勉勵自己，對上帝對人，時常存着無虧的良心。

對大衛說：「你比我公義，因為你以善待我，我卻以惡待你。

不然，讓這些人自己說，他們看出我站在議會前的時候，有甚麼不對的地方。縱然有，也不過是為了一句話，就是我站在他們中間喊說：『我今日在你們面前受審，是為了死人復活。』」

祭司長和聖殿警衛看見他，就喊着說：「釘十字架！釘十字架！」彼拉多對他們說：「你們自己把他帶去釘十字架吧！我查不出他有甚麼罪狀。」猶太人回答他：「我們有律法，按照律法，他是該死的，因為他自以為是上帝的兒子。」

哈曼對亞哈隨魯王說：「有一民族散居在王國各省的民族中，與眾不同；他們的律例與萬民的律例不同，也不守王的律例，所以容留他們對王無益。
