專心倚靠你的，你必保護他一切平安，因為他倚靠你。

王說：“但我見有四個人，並沒有綁著，在火中走來走去，也沒有受傷，並且那第四個的樣貌好像神子。”

他們得神的幫助對抗敵人，夏甲人和所有與夏甲人聯盟的人，都交在他們手中，因為他們在作戰的時候向神呼求；神應允了他們，因為他們倚靠他。

那些總督、總監、省長和王的謀臣，都聚攏來看這三個人，見火無力傷他們的身體；他們的頭髮沒有燒焦，衣服沒有燒壞，身上也沒有火燒的氣味。尼布甲尼撒說：“沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌的神是應當稱頌的，他差遣使者拯救那些倚靠他的僕人；他們違抗王的命令，寧願捨命，除了自己的神以外，不肯事奉敬拜任何其他的神。

投靠耶和華，勝過倚靠人。投靠耶和華，勝過倚靠王子。

第二天早晨，眾人清早起來，出發到提哥亞的曠野去；他們正出去的時候，約沙法站起來，說：“猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民哪，你們要聽我的話；信靠耶和華你們的神，你們就必堅立；信靠他的先知，你們就必亨通。”

葉忒羅因為耶和華為以色列人所行的美事，就是拯救他們脫離埃及人的手，就非常喜樂。

耶和華幫助他們，搭救他們；他搭救他們脫離惡人，拯救他們，因為他們投靠他。

王聽見了這話，就非常愁煩；他定意要搭救但以理，直到日落的時候，他還在設法營救但以理。

耶穌對他說：“‘如果你能’（“如果你能”有些抄本作“你若能信”）—對於信的人，甚麼都能！”

希蘭聽見了所羅門的話，就十分歡喜，說：“今天耶和華是應當稱頌的，因為他賜給了大衛一個有智慧的兒子治理這麼眾多的人民。”

推羅王希蘭回信給所羅門說：“耶和華因為愛自己的子民，所以立你作他們的王。”希蘭又說：“創造天地的耶和華以色列的神，是應當稱頌的！因為他賜給大衛王一個有智慧的兒子，有聰明有見識，可以為耶和華建造殿宇，為自己建造王宮。

你們不要倚靠權貴，不要倚靠世人，他們一點都不能救助你們。他們的氣一斷，就歸回塵土；他們所計劃的，當天就幻滅了。以雅各的神為自己的幫助，仰望耶和華他的神的，這人就是有福的。耶和華造天、地、海，和其中的萬物；他持守信實，直到永遠。

耶和華的名是堅固的高臺，義人投奔，就得安全。

他們藉著信，就戰勝了敵國，伸張了正義，得到了應許，堵住了獅子的口，

王回到宮裡，整夜沒有吃東西，也不要任何娛樂解悶，並且睡不著覺。
