When Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house( now his windows were open in his room toward Jerusalem) and he kneeled on his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did before.

但以理既知王詔已頒、則歸其家、其家有樓室、牖向耶路撒冷而啟、在彼一日三次、屈膝曲跽、禱告祝謝其天主、與素日無異、

Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before.

Daniel found out that the king had signed the order. In spite of that, he did just as he had always done before. He went home to his upstairs room. Its windows opened toward Jerusalem. He went to his room three times a day to pray. He got down on his knees and gave thanks to his God.

When Daniel knew that the document had been signed, he went to his house where he had windows in his upper chamber open toward Jerusalem. He got down on his knees three times a day and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as he had done previously.

When Daniel realized that a written decree had been issued, he entered his home, where the windows in his upper room opened toward Jerusalem. Three times daily he was kneeling and offering prayers and thanks to his God just as he had been accustomed to do previously.

Evening, morning, and at noon, I will cry out in distress. He will hear my voice.

But Peter and the apostles answered,“ We must obey God rather than men.

Oh come, let’s worship and bow down. Let’s kneel before Yahweh, our Maker,

In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

Pray without ceasing.In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.

Through him, then, let’s offer up a sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of lips which proclaim allegiance to his name.

Peter sent them all out, and knelt down and prayed. Turning to the body, he said,“ Tabitha, get up!” She opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

I will bless Yahweh at all times. His praise will always be in my mouth.

But as for me, in the abundance of your loving kindness I will come into your house. I will bow toward your holy temple in reverence of you.

“ If your people go out to battle against their enemy, by whatever way you shall send them, and they pray to Yahweh toward the city which you have chosen, and toward the house which I have built for your name;

Then they answered and said before the king,“ That Daniel, who is of the children of the captivity of Judah, doesn’t respect you, O king, nor the decree that you have signed, but makes his petition three times a day.”

I said,‘ I have been banished from your sight; yet I will look again toward your holy temple.’

It was so, that when Solomon had finished praying all this prayer and supplication to Yahweh, he arose from before Yahweh’s altar, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread out toward heaven.

Now on the next day as they were on their journey, and got close to the city, Peter went up on the housetop to pray at about noon.

if they return to you with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their enemies, who carried them captive, and pray to you toward their land, which you gave to their fathers, the city which you have chosen, and the house which I have built for your name;then hear their prayer and their supplication in heaven, your dwelling place, and maintain their cause;and forgive your people who have sinned against you, and all their transgressions in which they have transgressed against you; and give them compassion before those who carried them captive, that they may have compassion on them

whatever prayer and supplication is made by any man, or by all your people Israel, who shall each know the plague of his own heart, and spread out his hands toward this house,

Don’t be afraid of the things which you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested; and you will have oppression for ten days. Be faithful to death, and I will give you the crown of life.

and that most of the brothers in the Lord, being confident through my bonds, are more abundantly bold to speak the word of God without fear.

Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need.

Peter and John were going up into the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.

( for Solomon had made a bronze platform, five cubits long, and five cubits wide, and three cubits high, and had set it in the middle of the court; and he stood on it, and knelt down on his knees before all the assembly of Israel, and spread out his hands toward heaven)

But so that this spreads no further among the people, let’s threaten them, that from now on they don’t speak to anyone in this name.”They called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.But Peter and John answered them,“ Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, judge for yourselves,

At the evening offering I arose up from my humiliation, even with my garment and my robe torn; and I fell on my knees, and spread out my hands to Yahweh my God;

When he had spoken these things, he knelt down and prayed with them all.

For this cause, I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

But these things don’t count; nor do I hold my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to fully testify to the Good News of the grace of God.

Be merciful to me, Lord, for I call to you all day long.

Now, Lord, look at their threats, and grant to your servants to speak your word with all boldness,

He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and he knelt down and prayed,

He kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice,“ Lord, don’t hold this sin against them!” When he had said this, he fell asleep.

“ I know your works and where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is. You hold firmly to my name, and didn’t deny my faith in the days of Antipas my witness, my faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.

For these aren’t drunken, as you suppose, seeing it is only the third hour of the day.

I said,“ Should a man like me flee? Who is there that, being such as I, would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in.”

“ Go stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.”

Now when the day of Pentecost had come, they were all with one accord in one place.Suddenly there came from the sky a sound like the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

They agreed with him. Summoning the apostles, they beat them and commanded them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.They therefore departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for Jesus’ name.Every day, in the temple and at home, they never stopped teaching and preaching Jesus, the Christ.

according to my earnest expectation and hope, that I will in no way be disappointed, but with all boldness, as always, now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death.

Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him.

Fear him who after he has killed, has power to cast into Gehenna. Yes, I tell you, fear him.“ Aren’t five sparrows sold for two assaria coins? Not one of them is forgotten by God.But the very hairs of your head are all counted. Therefore don’t be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows.“ I tell you, everyone who confesses me before men, the Son of Man will also confess before the angels of God;but he who denies me in the presence of men will be denied in the presence of God’s angels.

“ If anyone comes to me, and doesn’t disregard his own father, mother, wife, children, brothers, and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he can’t be my disciple.

Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.“ Aren’t two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father’s will,but the very hairs of your head are all numbered.Therefore don’t be afraid. In Yahweh, I take refuge. How can you say to my soul,“ Flee as a bird to your mountain”?For, behold, the wicked bend their bows. They set their arrows on the strings, that they may shoot in darkness at the upright in heart.

When those days were over, we departed and went on our journey. They all, with wives and children, brought us on our way until we were out of the city. Kneeling down on the beach, we prayed.

Listen to the supplication of your servant, and of your people Israel, when they pray toward this place. Yes, hear in heaven, your dwelling place; and when you hear, forgive.
