但以理亦名伯底沙撒、一聞我言、不覺驚駭竟晷、中心鬱陶、余曰、伯底沙撒勿為余夢及兆、鬱伊不止、對曰、願此夢之兆、應於敵人、勿為王躬之咎、

稱伯提沙撒之但以理、一聞我言、驚訝片時、中心惶恐、我尼布甲尼撒王曰、伯提沙撒、勿為夢與夢兆惶恐、伯提沙撒曰、我主、願其夢應於王之仇、願其兆驗驗或作臨於王之敵、

Then Daniel( also called Belteshazzar) was greatly perplexed for a time, and his thoughts terrified him. So the king said,“ Belteshazzar, do not let the dream or its meaning alarm you.” Belteshazzar answered,“ My lord, if only the dream applied to your enemies and its meaning to your adversaries!

Daniel, who was also called Belteshazzar, was very bewildered for a while. His thoughts terrified him. So the king said,“ Belteshazzar, don’t let the dream or its meaning make you afraid.” Belteshazzar answered,“ My master, I wish the dream were about your enemies! I wish its meaning had to do with them!

Then Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, was dismayed for a while, and his thoughts alarmed him. The king answered and said,“ Belteshazzar, let not the dream or the interpretation alarm you.” Belteshazzar answered and said,“ My lord, may the dream be for those who hate you and its interpretation for your enemies!

“ Upon hearing this, Daniel( also known as Belteshazzar) was overcome for a time, frightened by the meaning of the dream. Then the king said to him,‘ Belteshazzar, don’t be alarmed by the dream and what it means.’“ Belteshazzar replied,‘ I wish the events foreshadowed in this dream would happen to your enemies, my lord, and not to you!

Then Daniel, whose name is Belteshazzar, was stunned for a moment, and his thoughts alarmed him. The king said,“ Belteshazzar, don’t let the dream or its interpretation alarm you.” Belteshazzar answered,“ My lord, may the dream apply to those who hate you, and its interpretation to your enemies!

“ Then Daniel, whose name is Belteshazzar, was appalled for a while as his thoughts alarmed him. The king responded and said,‘ Belteshazzar, do not let the dream or its interpretation alarm you.’ Belteshazzar replied,‘ My lord, if only the dream applied to those who hate you, and its interpretation to your adversaries!

Then Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, was astonished for a time, and his thoughts troubled him. So the king spoke, and said,“ Belteshazzar, do not let the dream or its interpretation trouble you.” Belteshazzar answered and said,“ My Lord, may the dream concern those who hate you, and its interpretation concern your enemies!

Then Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, was stricken dumb for a while, and his thoughts troubled him. The king answered and said, Belteshazzar, let not the dream, or the interpretation, trouble thee. Belteshazzar answered and said, My lord, the dream be to them that hate thee, and the interpretation thereof to thine adversaries.

Then Daniel, whose name is Belteshazzar, was stunned for a moment, and his thoughts alarmed him. The king said,“ Belteshazzar, don’t let the dream or its interpretation alarm you.” Belteshazzar answered,“ My lord, may the dream apply to those who hate you, and its interpretation to your enemies!

Then Daniel, whose name[ was] Belteshazzar, was astonied for one hour, and his thoughts troubled him. The king spake, and said, Belteshazzar, let not the dream, or the interpretation thereof, trouble thee. Belteshazzar answered and said, My lord, the dream[ be] to them that hate thee, and the interpretation thereof to thine enemies.

Then Daniel( whose name is also Belteshazzar) was upset for a brief time; his thoughts were alarming him. The king said,“ Belteshazzar, don’t let the dream and its interpretation alarm you.” But Belteshazzar replied,“ Sir, if only the dream were for your enemies and its interpretation applied to your adversaries!

Then Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, was stricken mute for a while, and his thoughts troubled him. The king answered,“ Belteshazzar, don’t let the dream, or the interpretation, trouble you.” Belteshazzar answered,“ My lord, may the dream be for those who hate you, and its interpretation to your adversaries.

我但以理精疲力竭，病了几天，后来我起来，办理王的事务，但我仍因这异象惊骇不已，不明白它的意思。

这事到此完毕。我但以理心中十分惊惶，脸色也变了，但我把这事存放在心里。”

忽然有一位像人的，摸我的嘴唇，我就开口和那站在我面前的交谈，说：“我主啊！因着这异象，我非常痛苦，毫无气力。我主的仆人怎能和我主说话呢？我现在全身无力，没有气息。”

王啊！梦的意思就是这样：这临到我主我王的事，是至高者的裁决。

以利说：“耶和华对你说了什么话呢？你不要向我隐瞒，他对你所说的一切话，如果你向我隐瞒一句，愿神对付你，并且加倍对付你。”

那古实人也到了。他说：“有好消息报给我主我王；今天耶和华已经救你脱离那些起来攻击你的人的手了！”王问古实人：“那年轻人押沙龙平安吗？”古实人回答：“愿我主我王的仇敌和一切来攻击你、伤害你的人，都像那年轻人一样。”

“我尼布甲尼撒安逸地住在家中，在宫里享受荣华富贵。（本节在《马索拉文本》为4:1）我作了一个梦，这梦使我惧怕；我在床上所见的梦幻和我脑海中出现的异象，都使我惊惶。

我的肺腑，我的肺腑啊！我绞痛欲绝。我的心哪！我的心在我里面颤抖，我不能缄默不语。我的灵啊！我听见了号角的声音，也听见了战争的吶喊。

俄巴底在路上走的时候，以利亚遇见了他。俄巴底认出他来，就脸伏在地，说：“你真是我主以利亚吗？”

王问称为伯提沙撒的但以理说：“你能向我说明我所见的梦和梦的意思吗？”

“至于我但以理，我的灵在我里面忧伤，我脑海中出现的异象使我惊惶。

随后，大卫也起来，离开了山洞，在扫罗背后呼叫，说：“我主！我王！”扫罗回头向后看的时候，大卫就脸伏于地，向他叩拜。

“最后，那照着我神的名，称为伯提沙撒的但以理，来到我面前，他里面有圣神的灵，我就把梦告诉他：‘术士的领袖伯提沙撒啊！因为我知道你里面有圣神的灵，没有什么隐秘的事能难倒你；因此，你要把我梦中所见的异象和梦的意思告诉我。

太监长给他们起了新的名字，称但以理为伯提沙撒，哈拿尼雅为沙得拉，米沙利为米煞，亚撒利雅为亚伯尼歌。

现在，如果你肯赦免他们的罪，那就好了；如果不肯，求你从你所写的册上把我涂抹吧。”

我把你们掳到的那城，你们要为她求平安，为她向耶和华祈祷；因为她得平安，你们也得平安。’

吩咐他们说：“你们要对我主以扫这样说：‘你的仆人雅各这样说：我在拉班那里寄居，一直到现在。我拥有牛、驴、羊群、仆婢，现在派人来报告我主，希望得到你的欢心。’”

这都因为在这但以理里面有美好的灵性，有知识，有聪明，能解梦，释谜语，能解答难题；这人尼布甲尼撒王曾给他起名叫伯提沙撒。现在可以把但以理召来，他必能解释墙上文字的意思。”

大卫对押尼珥说：“你不是一个男子汉吗？以色列人中有谁能与你相比呢？众民中有一个人来要杀害王你的主，你为什么没有保护王你的主呢？

诸山见你而颤抖，众水暴流而过；深渊发声，举手高扬。

拉结对她父亲说：“求我主不要生气，我不能在你面前起来，因为我正有女人的经期。”这样，拉班彻底搜查了，也搜不出那神像来。

你就要回答：‘是你仆人雅各的，是送给我主以扫的礼物，他自己也在我们后面。’”

哈拿回答：“我主啊，不是的。我是个心灵愁苦的妇人，淡酒烈酒都没有喝，只不过在耶和华面前倾吐我的心意。
